It's great tutorials like this that gave me the confidence to make an attempt myself, though I'll leave it to the professionals next time! Total time to complete, for me, was about 10 hours (over a couple of days). I also have the armrest and cubbies on my backseat so there was a bit more to do. I'll also say that there was a lot of grunting trying to get some of the clips together and my hands, fingers and shoulders felt it after! I was able to save all the fabric with the exception of the front headrests; it was just too tight to get off and I couldn't figure out how to remove the guides (mine have tilt)...though I really have no idea if I'll even keep them. Only thing left to do now is, carefully, cut out the tilt buttons on all the headrests and do the console armrest.
best tutorial yet. shows the exact process. wish you were talking tho. 9.9/10 video. youll get the other .1 when your talking in the video
Thank you!!! Have more videos in the making, we have been so behind due to covid and have been catching up, so I haven’t been able to do much filming. I’ll definitely have some voice overs in the future videos. Please feel free to subscribe to the channel. I sure appreciate the feedback.
One hand too. Damn man you are good.
Im researching leather for my silverado and on the fence abt attempting it myself. All the others have you cutting the clips in the seams and separating the seats. You made this look very do-able!
This is a great video, I wish they would have recorded how to do the jump seat.
Any luck on that ? Im doing mine next week
@@88888javiertube I ended up taking mine to a shop which I regret, I feel I could have done better myself
Get you a full console and swap out that jump seat. I got my console at a junkyard for a great price and got the harness to retain all the features and sockets
Wish I would have ordered these the first time I saw your video! Price has doubled
Best tutorial very nice keep it up
Great video! thanks for making this video waiting on my covers to be delivered so I can do this to my Silverado
That’s awesome. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have prior to or during your install process.

@@autoskinzinteriors5441 thanks I will probably reach out I’m installing myself this weekend
@@jrlopez713 Sounds good. I’m sure it will look great when you are done installing it!!!
@@autoskinzinteriors5441 how do I remove side pedals at bottom left on driver side
Very nice tutorial. Good work!!!
Thank you!
Looks easier than a Ford. Waiting on the kit for my Lacrosse.
How do you do the center jump seat? There are alot of videos for the arm rest but none for the jump seat it self. do you have a video of that process?
Not a big fan of using razor blades to cut the old fabric off. For an extra 20 minutes, a perfectly good cloth interior set could have been preserved for a resto years down the road. Now its just trash.
In some cases I can agree with you, but cloth that is filthy already and worn out it’s pointless to keep. We use to keep the cloth, but when you end up with warehouses full of old cloth interiors they eventually become obsolete.
Also, the clips in the cushion are very delicate, cutting the fabric increase your chances of being able to not have any broken ones.

Did air bag light come on after installing seat's?
How about the single rear seat I didn’t see it on the video
Any video on how to do the jump seat?
Cool, thank you for sharing. How long did it take? How many hours. If I would consider to install this by professionals. I don't think I will do a good job.
Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve done this for over 20 years, so it only takes me a couple hours to do this particular vehicle. If I had to say, for a new installer, probably 4-6 hours depending on your skill set.
@@autoskinzinteriors5441 where are u located
Are there two different levels of Katskin ? I saw another video where they just slipped it over the existing interior.
Not that I’m aware of. Most OEM improved Katzkin leather covers are designed to be installed just as factory leather or cloth is designed. Especially when it comes to the airbag assemblies!
Center console….?
Is this process the same for trucks with heated seats?
Yes, exact same install.
Would this be the same process with a 2014 Silverado
Yes, for the most part.
Do you have seat covers for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
How do u get the wrinkles out
Carefully steamed, or install them and sit them in the sun to pull the wrinkles out.
I was thinking viagra.. haha
How much do you charge for labor? I'm going to give it a try and if it turn out great then I'd be interested in offering this service to the public. I've taken part a lot interior pieces so it shouldn't be too bad. Although its a pain in the ass when something breaks
I just got a quote 900 for 2 seats
Do you have to cut the headrest holes?
Yes, you do. Sorry for the delayed response.
How much were your covers? And where’d you get them?
Katzkin and Roadwire are the two top OEM approved factory replacements for converting cloth to leather. We are a certified installer for both companies so that is where these covers came from!
@@autoskinzinteriors5441 Do you sell the covers? I don't think Katzkin sells them to normal people, lol.
@@lavachemist you can find them on ebay, if you're lucky you can find them for $500
Great tutorial but I hate the music. Placeholder music is just wretched…being honest. Otherwise your technical abilities are highest level.
