In the last year, I caught the sling bug. I've gotten slings from Wandrd, Alpaka, Aer, Monarc, Defy, Modern Dayfarer and Belroy. Some I've let go and some I've kept. It kind depends on your use, but there really is nothing like having them and using them to really find out what you actually like (unfortunately the expensive route, ebay has been my friend). I did try that Monarc, but my new work laptop was too big, so I ended up with an Aer Travel Sling 2. For smaller slings, I find I like the way Bellroy mounts their straps the best, it always sits right on the body. But for tech carry, Alpaka and Aer have better internal organization for that.
