Well might be a bit late now, but since you have taken it apart 3 times already you could go all out, do a custom shell swap, put hall sensing joysticks on it so you would never have to worry about stick drift, maybe some custom buttons, and depending how the battery is maybe a new one. I just did all that to a switch lite last night, and aside from a stupid mistake that screwed up the front of the shell slightly it looks like a completely different switch and honestly amazing 😊 and with a new battery and joysticks that wont get drift it should last for years.
you are doing very well , hope your channel goes at great place wtih a big amount of subs ! I was searching this type of vids and stumbled at your channel I liked your 'macbook vids' very much hope you'll bring more of this type of vids.
Do you have to use an adhesive to stick the digitizer to the LCD? Or does it just sit in place? I know the digitizer needs adhesive to stick to the shell, but can't find any info about securing the LCD to the digitizer.
It moves around a *tiny* bit, but i dont think it really matters. Unless you have a piece of dust in there that could scratch the screen, it should be fine
@@crimsontechytit moves around a tiny bit during assembly? Or it moves around a tiny bit post-assembly? Like once it's put back together, is the LCD moving around inside? I'm doing this repair tomorrow. I have some adhesive strips, just not sure if I'm supposed to use it just on the digitizer to the shell, or also on the digitizer to the LCD.
Oh sorry i misunderstood you. The digitizer needs stick to the plastic divider between it and the LCD of the switch, otherwise it will just fall out. The LCD display and backlight should already be glued together (hopefully)

You can, but it's very. VERY hard. I'd buy a glass just in case
