  • Welcome back, folks, to another episode of Disliked Wins in NASCAR, where we delve into the races that stirred up controversy and left fans divided. Today, we're diving into a race that sparked heated debates and polarized opinions among fans: the Victory Lane triumph that left many scratching their heads and some downright upset.
    Picture this: the roar of engines fills the air as cars zip around the track, battling for position. The tension is palpable as the laps wind down, and it's anyone's race. But as the checkered flag flies, it's not the fan favorite who takes the win. Instead, it's a driver who's been a lightning rod for criticism, whose victory leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of many.
    From the jubilant celebration in Victory Lane to the post-race interviews, emotions run high as fans take to social media to voice their displeasure. Some argue it was a strategic masterclass, while others decry it as unfair tactics or sheer luck. The debate rages on for days, with no consensus in sight.
    Join us as we dissect the race, analyze the pivotal moments, and explore why this particular win has left such a divisive mark on NASCAR fandom. So grab your favorite racing snacks and buckle up as we dive into another edition of Disliked Wins in NASCAR."

    Logano’s martinsville win wasn’t “a whole nother level of dirty”. It’s called a bump n’ run. If earnhardt did it everyone would be happy. A bump n run for the win is racing.

    • @nickerskine2564
      @nickerskine2564 23 дня назад

      The difference here is that in short track racing, any clean bump is usually a small tap on the left rear just to get them loose. When you square up on them going into the corner to move them, that’s nothing but a cheap shot.

He got hurt, became a dad, and I think it softened him a bit. Yah he still drives with that edge…but you can see since he went to RCR he’s more mellow, loose, and seemingly a better sport about things. May have to do with Childress’ experience dealing with Dale. It’s worth noting that since Kyle left JGR, the attitudes inside that team haven’t changed…if anything Hamlin’s gotten worse and Ty Gibbs…well…

    post-watch edit: Kinda surprised Denny only showed up once. I know of several of his wins that were absolutely despised by fans.
    Just to name a few and the reasons for them:
    2020 Daytona 500 (Denny showed no concern for Ryan Newman, who was trapped in his flaming wrecked car as Denny did burnouts)
    2023 spring Kansas and 2023 Pocono (Denny wrecked Kyle Larson for both of these wins)
    2023 Bristol night race and 2024 Busch Clash ("I beat your favorite driver")
    2024 spring Richmond (Denny jumped the final restart and Nascar let him get away with it)

      1. Hamlin removed his radio equipment after winning, so he didn't hear anything.
