Sportsmanship Of Matt Dibenedetto 1:41
yeah, insane amount of respect for him. Danny is easy to dislike but he didnt do anything to not earn the victory. But Dibenedetto earned a lot of fans that day.
@@kyledabearsfan m m m yes. Danny Humlin
0:21 this was so sad
So sad!!! I was so mad
Why were you mad? They fought hard and fair. Yes it can be sad, but in a competition you shouldn't hand out victories to your competitors, just because it would be their first win or whatever reason. Even Dibenedetto wasn't mad, so you shouldn't be. Great guy Dibenedetto btw.
Dad gum it I wanted Mark Martin to win the 500 in 2007, he came oh-so-close of getting it. What's worse, he never had a chance to win a championship thru-out his NASCAR career.
I know. I was so mad at Harvick.
@@MMCS07A famous victory swiped away. Ouch. That really stings like a yellow jacket stinging you in the arm.
And if he had won that, Ginn Racing might actually last more than half a season before merging with DEI. That Daytona 500 paycheck might've actually saved that team, (considering if I remember correctly Ginn was a fraud and ran out of money, so that win would've helped immensely.)
@@ParadiseCity1329 that's right
We all knew the 2006 Talledega finish would appear in this video. Why you probably don’t even need a thumbnail to know certain clips will appear
Brian Vickers didn't mean to do that though. It was only an accident as he was following Jimmie Johnson for the win but ended up accidentally wrecking both of them. I say that was just a racing incident.
@@markdemars7648 The thing is, you know how dedicated these fans are especially to the most popular drivers. They see stuff like that and all hell breaks loose
@@mrdarknezz6285 I understand that. I know how that feels.
@mrdarknezz6285 you're definitely right. Just like how Jr fans freaked out after Richmond 2008.
@@WizardKingNick I find it best to not have a favorite driver just in case if that driver finds themselves in a situation like Talledega 2006
Logano’s martinsville win wasn’t “a whole nother level of dirty”. It’s called a bump n’ run. If earnhardt did it everyone would be happy. A bump n run for the win is racing.
The difference here is that in short track racing, any clean bump is usually a small tap on the left rear just to get them loose. When you square up on them going into the corner to move them, that’s nothing but a cheap shot.
@@nickerskine2564 nah, that was a perfectly executed bump and run. For the win btw
This could basically just be a compilation of Kyle Busch’s wins prior to 2023, Jeff Gordon’s wins prior to about 2008, and any Hamlin win.
More like pre 15 Busch, and pre 2005 Gordon. Add any Johnson win and we’re set.
@@TheOfficialRandomGuy I think it’s something with the attitude inside JGR…but I think the turning point with Kyle started around 2015. He got hurt, became a dad, and I think it softened him a bit. Yah he still drives with that edge…but you can see since he went to RCR he’s more mellow, loose, and seemingly a better sport about things. May have to do with Childress’ experience dealing with Dale. It’s worth noting that since Kyle left JGR, the attitudes inside that team haven’t changed…if anything Hamlin’s gotten worse and Ty Gibbs…well…
Hey! That 06 Dega race was one of the first i remember as well watching on my own.
Ty Gibbs Martinsville Win is definitely unlike able
I liked it
I saw the foreshadow coming
Not NASCAR related, but Jamie Whincup winning the 2017 Supercars Championship pissed me off, primarily because I wanted Scott McLaughlin to win
Part 2:
Dale Earnhardt at Bristol 99
Dale Earnhardt Jr at Michigan 06
Jeff Gordon at Talladega 04
Ty Gibbs at Martinsville 23
Denny Hamlin at Pocono 23
Kyle Busch at Michigan 18
Joey Logano at Darlington 22
Robby Gordon at New Hampshire 01
Michael Waltrip at Daytona 02
Part 2
I dont know why people were mad at hamlin for trying to win a race
They’re mad at how he got them. Same with how Brad or Joey or Kyle won some of their races.
Right? What was he supposed to do? Be happy with second because of who's leading? If the fans want to be mad at someone, be mad at Newman for racing the leader hard
If fans should be mad at anyone it should be Ryan Newman. He held him up to allow Hamlin to catch him. But that's just short track racing
The same reason Denny Hamlin fans get mad when other race car drivers does the same thing to him.
I mean it doesn't matter who the driver is. Their fans will look to blame anyone regardless.
So many rough losses as a young Junior fan. Everytime he was dominatiing, something went wrong and it all blew up lol that Mark Martin loss at Talladega was rough, so much screaming in our house that day lol
I know what you mean
I was at the Bristol night race in 2019. My first cup race in person, that was one of the most heartbreaking races ever.
Before watching this, I can already tell Denny Hamlin is gonna show up here a lot
post-watch edit: Kinda surprised Denny only showed up once. I know of several of his wins that were absolutely despised by fans.
Just to name a few and the reasons for them:
2020 Daytona 500 (Denny showed no concern for Ryan Newman, who was trapped in his flaming wrecked car as Denny did burnouts)
2023 spring Kansas and 2023 Pocono (Denny wrecked Kyle Larson for both of these wins)
2023 Bristol night race and 2024 Busch Clash ("I beat your favorite driver")
2024 spring Richmond (Denny jumped the final restart and Nascar let him get away with it)
For the Daytona one:
1. Hamlin removed his radio equipment after winning, so he didn't hear anything.
2. Hamlin's spotter accepted responsibility, admitting to not telling him about the accident when he had the chance.
3. Joe Gibbs did apologize for their celebration.
@dracoarton94 i know of several crybabies too, people booing him, even when the win is fair. Just be silent then.
2023 Spring Kansas: 2 drivers fighting for a win on the last lap in a championship format that incentivise winning over everything else, Larson got loose and Hamlin had a run
No matter what denny hamlin is absolutely what nascar needs, not a bunch of yesman drivers who qre scared of getting fired
Forgot to mention dibedetto was told earlier that week he won’t be coming back to race for that team next year and a win would’ve been huge for trying to find a new ride
How did you not put the Richmond race where Kyle spins Jr. and Bower wins
Part 2
Yeah that bristol race still hurts :/
Yes it does
1992 Miller Genuine Draft 500 When Darrell Jaws Waltrip With A Big Gas tank won the race after filping Davey Allison
8:09 I think it's legal on the last lap lol
Unpopular opinion, but seeing where Derrike Cope's career went after 1996, I'm somewhat glad that Dale Sr lost a tire. Of course nobody knew that he'd win later on, so the loss was heartbreaking at the time. I love Dale, but 76 wins and 7 championships...in retrospect it's nice to see the little guy win.
'She got really tight, after Newman came up into her...'🤔
😂
Lol
Well in Vicker's defense he wrecked two dbags so he has that going for him. Little E running out of gas is so sweet to see. D.E. wins should be included here. The number of people he wrecked is ridiculous. He started the whole "fan favorite" bad guy shtick that continues today.
Rubbing is racing princess
Found a jr hater mommy's basement dweller
I love underdog wins but I don’t understand why people make a deal about a car like the 95 being in the playoffs if he won. It has no chance of winning the title and is just a waste of a spot till elimination.
Yeah, but it’s a win he didn’t have
@@MMCS07 oh I agree about the win that would have been huge but I just don’t see the point in teams like that being in the playoffs. I understand it brings attention and money that is much needed which is good but they have no chance of winning a title
For me, personally, it’s every time willy b wins
DiBenedetto should have won that race at Bristol in 2019
Well he didn't, people seem to act like Hamlin just dumped Di Benedetto for the win...Hamlin was faster, so won. Yes it would have been nice seeing an underdog win, but it's racing
I agree
Haven’t even watched yet and I already see Hamlin comments. So far, going as expected lol.
Your missing the Gordon beating jr at talladega due to the caution. That should have gone #1 easily due to the crowd reaction
Oh yeah! Part 2
Thanks For Uploading
Any time
MattyD deserves so much better in NASCAR, hell of s driver.

Oh the irony.....
2009 Pepsi 400, Tony Stewart was a cheap shot artist that day
Wrong Busch turned himself besides rubbing is racing
He blocked too many times
*Coke Zero 400 and you're wrong. Kyle tried to block. Get over it.
The last clip I had a feeling. I really think that Chase deserved that win. Ryan Newman screwed him up. And in that moment is when I knew Ryan Newman is an @$$hole. Well up until the wreck at the 2020 Daytona 500. So honestly Ryan Newman was a you know what at Dover that race in 2017 but he gets my sympathy as I have become sympathetic for him after that crash.
Yeah
Where’s The controversial 2015 fall Dega race?
The Logano bumping and banging wasn’t very terrible. Like yea he turned truex but he did what any racer would do and it was just like Larson and Beuscher bumping and banging a few weeks ago.
4:40 was awesome!
Poor MTJ, 🤣
Logano won that championship!!
Bathurst 1992 for an Australian unpopular win.
Funny because none of these are on my disliked wins list lol
Ryan Newman Coast Two Drivers Wins In This Video
that did not age well mtj 2018
Yea if you gotta wreck a guy to win it’s not a very good win! Now bumping a slower guy to get him out of your way is a whole other thing! I get no one wants to give up 1st but if you got a faster car behind you and you don’t he just might put you into the wall by accident or on purpose!
5:06 he did😢
The 2002 Pepsi 400 (Daytona) should be featured. *Everyone* hated Michael Waltrip that night.
Race was attrition filled. Multiple infamous issues. Waltrip wrecked *& injured* another driver early in the race. He then gets gifted the win by NASCAR because they forgot their own red flag rule.
All that leads to Waltrip being pelted by debris from the crowd.
Part 2
Pretty sure it was because it ended under caution, and Jr. lost.
Im sorry but considering hendrick was replacing vickers and had basically excommunicated his team in the meetings, i dont blame him for wreaking johnson, i wasnt happy that junior suffered for it.i was a jr fan and Not a big fan of hendrick.

I don’t it
Lagano did nothing wrong, just a lil bump n run

The 2007 Daytona 500 was the greatest win ever. One of my favorite Harvick wins
I like all drivers I don’t have a favorite but Joey and his move in truex at Martinsville wasn’t anything bad. That move won him the title in a big way. He didn’t wreck Martin and he is racing for a championship
It was dirty!
Your clips do not need a voice over intro for each one. Just show the clip. We do not need to hear you.
It’s for context
I despise Logano, but he did nothing wrong to Truex.
Martin was clean, I'll give him that but it's the last lap and it was a textbook bump and run.
If Martin was behind Logano coming into the last turn id bet my paycheck he'd have done the same thing.
The only reason he was sideways out of turn 4 is because he turned down on Joey out of frustration id assume.
Watch it again, we've cheered on drivers for doing that but condem Logano ?
Again, im not a fan of his, but that was classic short track racing and that's it.
Joey raced him dirty
This guy is the biggest Logano hater. He will always finds ways to discredit him.
@@estes0003
Because he's trash
@@estes0003 I literally defended him
@@NPC-Gamer I know. I was talking about the channel
Logano did a text book bump and run… and sorry Martin but yes, he did win the war.
Truex has a legitimate championship
No he didn’t

Nope truex would have won under any format
