they left out a very funny part
jeremy: you are the most famous guest we've ever had
patrick: this must be a terrible show, then
I love Patrick haha
I do too! Amazing actor who was in an amazing series :-) But I do like Clarkson also! He does not seem to appreciate the greatness of Patrick thoug... but that is also why Clarkson is amazing! he does not give a f*ck... Love them both for different reasons :-)
borel2016 why am i so special? oh you meant the other Patrick
A self-depreciating burn, I love it!
they didn't just leave it out. They watched the interview waited for it, edited it out then posted it to youtube
The power of Patrick Stewart's voice turns even his regular conversations into commanding monologues.
he could make reading a cereal packet sound like god narrating the big bang lmao
I have seen this power once before
Morgan Freeman and Patrick Stewart are the only humanized Gods I'll ever accept. Morgan good cop God. Patrick bad cop God. Morgan is sweet and patient - Patrick has no time for your childish bullshit.
"This is Captain Jean-luc Picard of the Federation Starship Enterprise, Valerie, are you still out there? Please acknowledge SS Jaguar. Picard out."
Very diplomatic
No spat of ego, megalomenia or stick up the arse anywhere on that man. Just sitting there, in regular clothing, joking a bit with his stardom status and in the end just being a humble man that is very glad he did well on a racestrack in a Liana. Sir Patrick Steward is AWESOME :D
6:36 "You're a second faster than Gambon."
"YURSHHR!"
LOOOL! God I love this man.
and he was 5 seconds faster than Gambon!
I love how you can see the genuine joy in his face when he hears the result. 6:04
2:12 when Eminem kicks in
lol
Shum ah lum ah doom ah lum ah
I've always liked Patrick Stewart, and this interview cements that. He seems very personable and friendly. And when he found out his time, he was speechless for a few seconds, his delight seemed utterly genuine.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if he just sat in the car and said "engage" but nothing happened, he looks back and says "report Mr. Worf".
_"It appears that this vehicle lacks a voice-command module or an inter-hull computer network. It appears that something needs to initiate a fossil fuel ignition sequence. It also seems we have no ability to defend ourselves. No weapons, no shields, no hull plating..."_
manictiger A Klingon with no weapons or Shields? No were is the fun in that?! ;) That comment manictiger was simply amazing! Qapla!
Cape Cod, MA
_"Mr. LaForge! Where are my engines?"_
_"In front of you sir! But I'm having a hard time activating the fuel pump assembly...I need it in order to transfer the fossil fuels to the combustion chamber! Give me 10 minutes captain!"_
_"You've got 5...Picard out"_
Lmao, that's hilarious
Even better, he goes "ENGAGE", floors it, stalls it, looks over his shoulder and shouts "DAMN IT, GEORDI!"
Patrick Stewart has not aged since the first time I saw him as a kid. Well over 20 years later and he still looks about the same. I like that guy :D
UKFreedomFighters nah dummy..he's cool but he is aging but he had a good run
3:15 When he said "Beverly" all the Crusher moments flashed before my eyes :P
I love the way his Yorkshire roots come to rise in his accent when he gets excited while getting into describing his driving moments. All salute the mighty Pat
Is it just me, or does Patrick Stewart just become more handsome as he gets older?
The man doesn't age.
its the money not the age
more money more handsomeness
It's not the money, I'm a guy and Patrick Stewart looks great for how long he's been around, and he has a good personality, which makes people like him more. Great actor, awesome guy. Money only = how handsome someone looks if you're shallow and stupid...in my honest opinion.
Logan FU
The English have this peculiar thing going on with age.
They have both the greatest and the sorriest old people in all of Europe.
I don't know why, I don't know how, but at some point in the life of an Englishman there comes a crossroad that they all take a turn in, one way or the other. Some become lousy, boring, ordinary, emotionally frigid while others become thrilling, awe inspiring and often strikingly handsome. It's also their very own type of handsomeness which is not found anywhere else.
It's all in the bass smooth voice, the brittish accent and the modesty.
The white Morgan Freeman.
Arch P this is a goddamn revelation.
There is a startling level of accuracy to this. lol
Or on the other hand; Morgan Freeman, the black Patrick Stewart
I dont find these 2 similiar..
It's a tie among Ben Kingsley, Anthony Hopkins and Patrick Stewart.
The man just oozes class.
"you're a second faster than Gambon" "CHYES!" that was awesome.
Came here for "this must be a terrible show then". Disappointed
It's not on here? Don't wanna watch this whole thing and get disappointed either.
Me too..
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined
Oh no!
Anyway...
It's not in this video
I could definitely see Patrick Stewart being a JAAAAAAAG driver. Although I think he could get away with anything all on his own.
Oh dear i seem to have left my wallet in the JAAAG.
Master actor, genuine nice guy and not a bad driver either!
Can't you tell? It's the Picard from the Mirror Universe. He's got the goatee!
The Terrans have arrived!
I love how genuinely nervous and excited these celebs get to hear their times. Class act Patrick is.
This guy is so cool!!! Such a fun and interesting personality...and his reaction was priceless when he saw the time was 1:50 lol!!! He really looks excited.
His face when jeremy says 1.50 is perfect
This man was like 70 in this and he looks like he is in his mid-late 50s.
This episode was taped in 2003, so PS was 63 in the video.
Star Trek TNG started in like 1987, he only looks about 5 years older XD
On the other hand, in the intervening 12 years Clarkson looks like he's aged about 30.
Once you reach Max Level, you stop levelling.
Eetu Palo To be fair, he also looked like he was in his mid-late 50s when he was actually in his 30s. He looks like he got all the ageing stuff out of the way early.
Clarkson has aged terribly since then. Stewart has barely aged.
clarkson drinks and shits and eats and nothing else. ofc he ages badly.
Clarkson's a smoker.
Cigarettes versus Earl Grey tea.
because clarkson smokes and drinks and doesnt look after his weight
Clarkson seems to have lightened up a bit though, seemed a bit bored/pedantic here for some reason.
I really enjoy how Brits talk "He's getting sod all else mind you"! 👍
Patrick Stewart is pure class. So enjoyable seeing him.
He never seems to get any older, Is he Immortal? Probably.
forever remembered
I thought that was Wolverine's power X3
Sort of. When he "dies" as you puny mortals call it, he will become Q.
Why do you think I pester him so? I'm grooming him.
Conduit nah he's showing his age now
Don't you know that common Human life expectancy in the late 2400s C.E. has progressed roughly to 170-195 years??
he would HAVE made a good tywin lannister
Patrick is so humble, I love watching this man! :)
Patrick Stewart is one of those rare celebrities that travels with his own personal driver. Most will be supplied one through the industry.. Alot of the times the head of the unionized division in the area will do the driving personally. Patrick will either drive his personal car or get his personal driver to drive him. Have seen thousands of productions go through this town and he is one of only 3 stars that have done this... Him, Tom Cruise and J-Lo surprisingly.
I love that he's wearing jeans and sneakers.
A rare finding, knowing it's the first time we've heard him say "dodgy"
American women were polled a few years ago, and the clothes they most like on a man were a clean, white button-down shirt and form-fitting jeans. It's classic, simple, and just looks good on a man's shape.
"How did you find the car?"
"Ordinary."
The first time I think it's been accurately described rather than unnecessarily flattered or ignored.
6:38 "you're a second faster than gambon" "YESSSSSSHHHH!!!!"
What a true Gentleman. Lovely interview , with a man at ease with himself .
Damn Sir Patrick is awesome.
Good old Patrick .....loved both sides of the pond...great in space and cartoons...you know the one im on about!
STAN SMITH
This man doesn't seem to age
He's looked fantastic for decades!
dudes got awesome personality
Great to see his face when he finds out about his time. The delight !!!
The best captain ever...
With tears in my eyes, I can honestly say I love Sir Patrick Stewart, as a human being. I've never really looked up to anybody except this man, but I will be sad beyond mentioning with his eventual passing. God Bless you, man!
He was 63 years old here. Amazing.
ha ha, I love Patrick Stewart as a person and as an actor. but I will always see him as Captian Picard and this was funny as hell with him in mind
We just heard Captain Picard say "dodgy" haha
Mr. Stewart is one cool cat :)
...Helm, set a course for the neutral zone, warp 9...engage...make it so!
This is one of the absolute best interviews in the history of the show
He looks a lot different without Worf standing behind him
This video.... is full of win.
if I could be born again and chose a voice I pick this guys!
He looks so happy at 6:07! It makes me really happy to see him happy. I love Sir Patrick Stewart.
On my calculation with the year Patrick bought the jag, this was aired in 2002. This being 2019.
I really miss the old top gear. 🙁
The old, wise headmaster of a school for youth with special talents.
What a fantastic man, love Patrick Stewart.
Omg they both were so Young...
5:24 ... I love Patrick Stewart :)
Honestly, Patrick Stewart is one of my favorite guests on Top Gear
They need to come to Missouri in the Foothills/Ozarks, if they want sharp turns & hi inclines to drive on.
Patrick Stewart is just THE LOVELIEST MAN.
These Top Gear laps done in small under powered sedans are great. Great contests of driving skill, even though they are not race cars. This concept would never be tried in the US, tv producers would feel the cars need to be flashier than that. Along come the English with Top Gear and their wonderful little segment. I think it’s consistently the best part of the show.
Patrick always a class act!
He's the perfect human
He succeeded in Hollywood. Very far from perfect.
Like me - on a good day.
LOL! That "YESS!" fist pump was absolutely adorable
I love how ready to be disappointed he sounds and then how genuinely shocked and pleased he is when he hears the time, he was literally left speechless hahahah I love him
I love how he says "Extraordinary."
Mirror universe Picard!
The goatee is a great look for him. He wears it better than Bryan Cranston!
Great interview! He is one of my favorites actors!!
His face when he sees, his time, so cute! x3
His son just freaked out. I'm only getting the JAG????
When he mentioned Sunset Blvd, I was glad. That road leads directly to UCLA. Beautiful curves and that damn house sprinkling in the morning! (chuckling)
Great shout out from Stewart for LA. We do have curves, just know where to look.
hahaha i love taking that set of corners as fast as I can..
jesse akins hahaha A good way to visit a prospective university :)
Arnold Rivas I went too UCLA in grade school for a field trip about university and college life best time of my life from what i remember i was only 12 at the time.
Corey Van vrouwerff That's great! I went...I think I was 15 or so and like you, it was to learn about college life. I was in awe by the size and how it looked...cool.
"we do have curves, just know where to look" I saw your sister...can confirm
Love Sir Patrick Stewart. Such class and the voice oh gods that voice 🐈💕🐾.
I’ve always wanted to see Patrick’s solo Scrooge ! I’ve heard his solo live performances are amazing. Hope you get back to SF Bay Area?! Thanks Patrick for your candor and hard work!!
ENGAGE!
Jeremy: You're the most famous guest we've had on.
Patrick: This must be a terrible show then :D
"Haha...I know where we are" lol
that little look of innocent joy at 6:12 is fantastic
Beautiful accent.
There are four tyres!
Adoro Patrick come attore formidabile e mi dà anche l'impressione di essere una persona buona e bella.Lunga vita al Capitano.
I was a baby when I first seen him on TV and now im 23 and he still looks this way O_O!!! he is immortal.
God damn that man is cool!
before he hit the finish line i thought he was gonna say , jordie maximum warp lol .
*Geordi lol
I love Patrick, he is such an awesome guy.
His Reaction is Priceless. 6:07

Magneto is Gandalf
Ian Mckellan?
Captain Picard on top gear. This is too cool for words!
"You missed out Valerie" LOL, truer words haven't been spoken.
Here's to the finest crew in starfleet, engage!
Captain Jean Luc Picard of the. U.S.S Enterprise
Dalek Form

galidroo lol took me a while to find someone who had commented "Make it so" then i finally found yours, good call lol
wheres his wheel chair :o
Sir Patrick the legend....going round the track at warp fs
That super happy Patrick Stewart face at 6:13 so cute!
I love Patrick Stewart but i'm digging my american heels in the ground, and it's pronounced Jaguar not Jaguar
James Lee wht the hell is the difference? lmao
Raheem Abdul you all are wrong. It's pronounced... If I may? Jaguar. Simple as that..
You guys are a hoot!
I defer to the Latins who gave us the word. They pronounce it Jagwar. In the same vein, I have heard Britons pronounce tequila, teh quill a, though the Latins pronounce it teh kee la.
Its pronounced Jaguar - Not the famous Jaguar
Its not gay if its with patrick stewart
I love this guy !
I just love listening to him speak
Patrick Stewart is a boss "I have a wire wheel cleaning man come to me!.
He should read Jeremy's mind.
he can, after all he is xavier, hahahahahahahahahahah
He will leave that to counsellor troi.
I love Patrick he seems like a very down home guy! Good vibes!
That made me so happy!!
