i would say frame slider may cause more problems than without it.. also in your case you are lucky that you might be in low speed or just a bike falling in stationary mode or the road in which t=your bike fell would have been smooth... BUT, if the road you fell had bumps or potholes or if u slide in rough rode / sandy road, trust me these frame sliders are the worst nightmares for your bike.. also at the more speed your bike falls with frame slider, the more risk it cause to your bikes... and i will tell you why . the reason is these stupid sliders some times don't do job its supposed to do, that is slide during a fall !! if the road is un even (majority of the indian roads are) , chances are your slider will get stuck in one of the uneven potholes or surface of the road, and that speed it will complete topple your bike or if your bike is too heavy, the slider will just break the frames structure !!! trust me , once the frame is damaged , you have to spend tons of money... also frame slider dont have much points of contacts during a fall compared to traditional crash guard which a long bended bar.. ofcourse its heavy and not cool looking comparing frame slider, but it only protects your bike from worst case scenarios, than frame sliders (which cause more damage).. so change your mind and throw those things off bro !!
Trust me bro its worth it....I got into an accident and it saved my bike a lot just minor scratches and engine is also fine...
