Hi Chris, Just to say many thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Who doesn't like a secret waterfall? And what a lovely, friendly pooch Lazlo is.

Hi Chris. This is my fave spot in Wales.Ive been around the surface workings of the slate quarry for a number of years, but not ventured underground. Its a great atmosphere up there quiet spooky sometimes. Its a shame most of the buildings went in the late seventies, and evidence of quarrying is getting buried with all the trees around.I know all the inclines, and the broad vein pit is interesting,I've located the workings/waterwheel a few years ago.Hope to see you up there in 2025.Best wishes Dave Saunders from Wolverhampton.

Thanks for some great footage of that well known secret waterfall. My copy of OS Map OL23 has the word "Falls" at its location :)

There's a waterfall not far from there where you can slide down and a cave full of cars too. Lots of amazing places in mid and North Wales
