- This is basically the same as the previous time-lapse video of modeling a RETRO TV but in real time with commentary. There are still some things to do in the next video.

Thanks for this Elliot, I know it can be a challenge when you have illness in the house. Scottish weather is typical, so i'm off to do some modeling in Blender. Take care my friend. Steve...
My pleasure Steve. More planned for this soon. But yeah, not quite well yet. Good luck with your Blender.
Superb sir
Thanks Ahmed.
Beautiful Mr. Eliott, Thank you for the tuts, Regards.

Hey I wish you lots of luck with modeling this. Of you look in the description of any of my Blender Challenge videos, you will find a link to the zerobio discord. There is a channel called References and that is where you can find the image you need. If you prefer, I will send you a new link to the reference. Just let me know.

@@DMA-b7d unfortunately discord does not keep links. Can you head over to the zerobio discord and search the 'References" channel to find it. The link to the zerobio discord can be found in the description of any of my recent Blender Challenge videos.
Is there a reason to chose to model some of these details rather than making them during texturing? Like the buttons and divet around the knobs etc.
Yes, it is generally better to do it in texturing, at least for games (for a static model that will just be rendered, geometry will almost always look better and can react better to substance painter textures). The main reasons, however, that I do this in geometry is to show the methods and also because I know many viewers don't have substance painter so I do it like this in case they just texture in blender.
@@zerobio fair enough! Thanks for video!
@@zerobio I'm glad you didn't use substance painter. I never use it. So most of your tutorial I can't follow because of this.
@snookems17 I'm sorry about that. Most of the texturing that I do in recent times uses substance painter and/or substance designer but once in a while I use blender only.
@@zerobio A lot of us do have Substance though and appreciate your videos because there are plenty of Blender only texturing tutorials but not as many Blender -> Substance videos like yours.
The reference image link does not appear to be valid.
I will send you a new link soon...
