MOD-7Ur was created with medium level Sharpness, half way between MOD-7Uq low level and default high sharpness MOD-7Up. Always disable WiFi setting for best image quality. Always view RUclips Dashcam footage in highest quality. Give this MOD a test drive and let me know if Sharpness is acceptable with your Lens focus.

Does this firmware mod apply to the IR version of the A129 duo also? if I try just following the instructions for the regular A129 duo it shouldnt have any issues right? Havent done it yet but just picked up the IRduo the other day and going to do the hardwire install. Thanks

NEVER use A129 Duo non-IR firmware on the IR camera because it doesn't contain the IR Camera Menu options. Owners of the A129 Infrared Camera with 180 degree Lens rotation unhappy with official firmware sharpness, color or low bitrate detail should contact Viofo for improvements or request custom modified firmware by BCHobbyist.
