I loved the recorded version from the first note, then I saw this live performance and was knocked off my feet. What an amazing, intense performance - it gives me chills every time I play it. We are so lucky to have Dave and Gillian.

How does Dave manage to write this well, sing this well, and play this well at all the same damn time? Frickin' Jedi Knight.
It's not that hard, lot's pf practice and determination to go with ones inherent talent.
Dave plays guitar like a true artist - as far as I can tell, he breaks all the rules about how to hold a guitar and how to move your picking hand, etc, but he’s so brilliant he can make his own rules. I have seen Dave and Gillian live a couple of times but the last time was way too long ago. Can’t wait to see them again, post-Corona.
Rawlings really is one of the great living songwriters. Wears his influences very boldly on his sleeve yet somehow manages to create something both new, and timeless. His music could’ve come from any time in the last 80+ years. His songs cut so deep to my core.
