This video saved me! I have watched so many others and had no idea about the tension disks. Problem solves immediately now I can finally finish my project!
I have a 4432, and I often had the issue where the thread felt like it was locked in there tight, wouldn't come out, and the backs of my fabric were horrendous. What a simple fix! Massive thanks!
yes! OMG I was about to take my machine in today and thought I would just check some more videos first. I had found one showing the same issue with the loose stitching on the underside and they advised unscrewing stuff and changing bobbin tension which was scaring the pajeebees out of me to try. Sooo glad I did look further and found your video! I don't know why my machine has become so picky on how to thread it after all these years but you are 100% correct. This is what was wrong. thank you!❣👏
Watched all the videos 3 times, especially tension test #12. Eerthing is set up exactly like these videos and still getting maor loops on back so much that about an inch into it it jams up. Very frustrated. If I can't overcome this I might as well sell the machine.
It seems many who bought Singer Heavy duty face this problem. It seems to be a chronic problem of this model unlike that old machine from grandma's time. I am frustrated with this unruly stitches that cannot be fixed by proper threading. Help!!!
I learn something from this video but mine machine is not working i did everything you said but still back thread problem .its new machine sew only 2 days please help me
Is this issue the same when I'm sewing over folded fabric? The thread just nest up underneath and sometimes the machine don't have the power to sew through the folded fabric.
Hello, one very important question, can i use this machine on silk or chiffon or any other very thin fabrics? If i can do i need a specific type of needle or foot? Thank you!
I have a Singer Model 4452 and am trying to do a simple zig zag stitch, but the zig zag only appears on the underside (the bobbin side) of the fabric. What should I do so that the stitch is on the top?

Took it in for repair, turns out the tubing was off. Or so they say at the repair shop, haven't had a chance to try it.
What is tubing? Did it work?
