Wow! Really cool and unique tones coming out of this thing. Normally I’m not into fuzz pedals but this one is really sweet. Reminds me of lots of those velvety Smashing Pumpkins tones. Definitely a winner. 😎👍👍
Yeah very very good rendition ! Sound perfect with your set up I'm a bit perplex with the finish and aesthetic though Looks like a bed room pedal to me ! ahah I cant see this sitting on the floor safely for that velvet finish and also for the knobs It would be nice if you made a small turn around of the pedal during the intro part to see how are the in and out and the power
Thanks for sharing. Yeah the crushed velvet is pretty odd but so is the finish of the original Foxx tone. I think Warm Audio was just trying to pay homage to the original in their own way.
Hi Scott. Well, generally I hated that overly-compressed buzzing 60's/70's sound, but your good playing made it sound better than it probably deserved. LOL That said, there is one song it had some potential of reproducing well. That would be Norman Greenbaum's Spirit In The Sky. I have discussed it to some length with Norman (really nice guy, btw) and as I recall he said he doesn't remember much about it, except that it was a custom home-built pedal, which produced that wonderful fuzzy drone on Spirit. Perhaps, if you do any more vids on this pedal, you could try to duplicate that guitar sound? Thanks. - Jstn P.S. - Loving my NuX MG30 overall. Thanks again for that.
Thanks for the kind words. Spirit in the Sky is one of my favorite classic rock tunes for sure. It might be interesting to see what I could come up with at some point. The thing about fuzz is that it's an expressive effect with so many tone pallets that you'll find yourself noodling for days with all of the different knob combos, which is what I got from the Foxy Tone. What a great pedal.

I was really surprised myself but what a great pedal indeed
Awesome demo! Love the tones gotten with this fuzz. Thanks for this!
Thanks.

Yeah- Wow this has great tone(s)!
Yes indeed
I love mine and the sound is spot on. Now all I need is for someone to come out with a tab book for Ram Jam and it is on.
Love that!
