- Here's the audio of Jeremy Jordan's performance of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's "Why, God, Why?" from their 1989 musical "Miss Saigon".
This performance took place at Carnegie Hall during the New York Pops 33rd Birthday Gala celebrating Boublil & Schönberg's legendary collaboration.
Credit for the audio goes to Melinda Ward, who attended the concert on May 2nd, 2016.

tv pays more money than broadway and Jeremy has always done a bit of tv, he went from newsies to smash. I don't watch Supergirl but I know Jeremy is desperate to go back to Broadway but hopefully when he does go back someone will write him his own musical not just a crappy reboot
Melissa Benosit the person who plays Supergirl will be making her broadway debut so I don't know why Jeremy Jordan won't come back.

Kristina Lopez if I could have taken video I would have because it was amazing watching him do this!! There were parts where he was physically shaking during the more desperate parts of the song.

His vibrato is basically my life essence.
This is comparable to Will Chase, my all time favorite Chris. Just the amount of vocal cries he used and how he implemented voice cracks and speaking into his performances was immaculate, and Jeremy is pretty much up to par with that.
I love the vibrato, don't get me wrong, but his straight tone is BUTTER
A year ago today Jeremy Jordan gave one of his best performances to date. Just saw him recently perform Lost in the Wilderness from Children of Eden and Out There from Hunchback of Notre Dame. He's gotten so good!!! Wish I had recorded it!!

ok, i’ve listened to every rendition of this song on youtube and jeremy jordan’s is by far the best. his voice is just superior in every way. Tveit sounds wimpy in comparison. some others are too shrill or lack the power to hold those notes to the end without losing their vibrato. jordan is masterful at power belting and his vibrato is flawless. and he’s only going to get better in coming years.
