I wish that story was developed into a full series, with sinestro forming the yellow lantern core.... leading over multiple seasons to blackest night...

Scarecrow and Batman who have actually used the yellow rings, have fear as one of their main tactics. I wouldn't be surprised if the Joker was a black lantern or something.

I always thought it made more sense for a yellow lantern to state the oath with the alteration of including the user's own name in "burn like my power, [Insert User's Name]'s Might!" because fear compels you to think you should uphold all the power and not allow others to unlike the Green Lantern's which wisely state that "Green Lantern's Might!" imply's that anyone in connection to green willpower is justified through democracy to speak their mind as everyone else has the right to do so. So when I become eager to have it the way I want it to be, "burn like my power, LucasetaK's Might!"

The Lizard King IT might depend on what region of space you are in. Or if the lantern you are facing hasn't already absorbed enough fear to charge his ring. And yes in most situations it would.

1. He's not a criminal or muderer like the other Yellow Lanterns
and 2. He doesn't need it, *He's BatMan!*

The reason why lantern rings don't work on batman because he is too mixed in personality to have one. He had fear and will so the rings got confused
