They should do 1 on all of the dark knights origins and than show how they meet what they do on earth zero
For those that are asking how he obliterated the GL corps and the Guardians, Hal did it first in Emerald Twilight. Bruce's is a little faster but no less legit.
Also for those asking how did he get such powerful, look at his "Constructs" they're void creatures, immune to light and had appeared in some of the mythos previously. He was able to conjure them because the ring mistook his emptiness and sadness for "lack of fear" while it was more of a "void".

Great explanation and I hated Hal Jordan for doing that even if he was possessed by Parallax, Kyle is a superior lantern and will always be my Green Lantern.

Each of the Lantern Corps always have a pretty cool oath, but this by far trumps them all. So badass!!
Now my new favorite oath. Used to be rage
I actually disagree. The first two lines are really solid, and so's the last. However, "I turn the dawn to midnight" is missing a syllable, messes with the cadence bad. Makes it just kinda yuck for me. Missed opportunity, imo. You could've done something cool with it.

I've always questioned why The Grim Knight is considered the most dangerous version of Bruce when this guy exists. For the other Dark Knights, they at least lived as Bruce Wayne for a while whereas the Dawnbreaker and The Grim Knight became who they were immediately after the death of their parents. However, while maybe what makes Grim Knight stronger is that he is probably a better detective than Dawnbreaker, the m***********g Dawnbreaker is a Green Lantern that killed the entire Corp in one fell swoop...
Seriously how is this guy not considered one of the most OP beings in DC even if for a moment?

Nope,because the ring already made in other emotion,the rage caused the ring to be power battery which is adapted emotion onto the ringg not the basic one it made with.this ring can get corrupted but not change it's basic creation emotion

That book was so awesome. Absolutely crazy and savage stuff going on. Bruce getting the ring right after his parents were killed was great, as was him overpowering the ring. Definitely my favorite Metal book so far, and one of my overall favorite comic books to read, period.

All I know about dark knights metal is that the Batman who laughs has an army of robins who only say "crow" and stop when he says "bar" and if we don't get an explanation for that I might not read it...
Like an explanation related to the story, obviously it's a reference to Jason Todd and the crow bar and maybe also the Batman beyond movie with Tim Drake becoming jokerized.

I love the issue where Hal fights this guy, cause he's beating the ever loving shit out of dawnbreaker by making his ring strobe so dawnbreaker can't find him. And then Hal's like "you know what, this is working, but it doesn't kick enough ass" and the tries to fight him head on and loses.

i have always said that batman could make the strongest green lantern. all we need is the good batman green lantern that can hold all color rings to counter this one. everything the batman ever stood for contains everything in all the rings it is only his sheer willpower that has made him the batman. therefore he can only be the strongest lantern of all time and verses
man I'm so freaking conflicted by this story line. On one hand it's really cool to see these alternate versions of Batman. On the other hand, I'm tired of all of the Batman hype. Everyone keeps saying Batman is unbeatable if you give him enough preptime, and never give his opponent any preptime. His physical feats should be legally classified as superhuman, even by comic standards. And now, this story is basically saying that Batman could be better versions of each justice league hero if he tried. Forget the fact that Hal Jordan's willpower is described as the most powerful in the universe, Batman's a better GL. Forget the fact that Barry Allen created the speed force and has ran so fast before that he rebooted the entire universe, Batman's a better Flash. At this point, why bother anymore?

If all you needed was willpower. The ring would work for every one. And a strong will to kill is usually called hate/anger/rage

Not nessesarily true for ruining the rings. Most of the rings get overload and self destruct if the user's willpower overcomes the ring itself. I think what dawnbreaker did was basically will the ring to reprogram itself to ignore the guardian's rules to fit his means. He used his emotions to hack a tool made by beings who swore them off. If that's not a true green lantern move I don't know what is

@@anonim4102 the rings themselves are made from sheer will power, when Dawnbreaker manipulated his could have essentially created a new compound like when you combine certain elements on the periodic table. Basically willpower + lack of other emotions = Dawnbreaker. I was thinking about the possibility that Dawnbreaker is essentially Black Hand in his universe where he can control/manipulate death

Batman is already dangerous as an ordinary man, guess this goes to say it’s a blessing for others he doesn’t have powers; these storylines show that he drops his moral code to not kill for once, his super power his will, he doesn’t know how to not quit under any circumstances.
