Thank you for being so vulnerable! I recently did a big chop to get rid of the relaxed hair that remained after 1+ years of neglecting my hair. I don’t feel confident or beautiful wearing my natural 4c hair so I’ve chosen to silk press my hair while it grows out. I agree that I don’t know anyone IRL that has waist length natural 4c hair but believe it’s possible based on You tube influencers with similar hair types. I’m so impressed that you are learning to embrace your natural hair and ‘defining your beauty’ at such a young age. I’m over 45 and going through the same journey.
Thank you for watching ❤ I used to exclusively wear my hair blown out before but it fried my ends. How has the silk presses been working out, are you retaining length? Do you do them yourself or go to the salon? Wearing our natural hair in its natural state can be taxing physically, mentally, and emotionally. At the end of the day, you do what you gotta do to keep moving forward and no one can blame you for that. ❤️
Girl! I get it. It's hard putting our true selves out there. But thank you for the video. My focus for my hair is just health. If I do that, I know it will grow. I have locs, but natural hair non the less. Moisture was a big thing for me so I am focusing on drinking plenty of water...also rose water + glycerin. Game changer.
It can be difficult but with proper nutrition hydration and moisturizing your hair will grow this is what worked for me: 🎉Scalp massages 🎉vitamin D 🎉More veggies 🎉More water 🎉Less sugar 🎉weekly washes 🎉Deep conditioning 🎉LOC Method
Girl your the fisrt person ive seen on yohtube with hair like mines ..and your right i have not seen it in real life all 4c is not the same and mines is like yours and i must admit its hard for to grow it .. be i have faith that you will succeed innyour journey
@@MsKae-tf8rw it’s very hard, I’m one year into it and have only gotten 5 inches of new growth. The average hair growth is 6 inches in a year so 4c is below. We have to work extra hard to retain our length. It’s very discouraging but I’m going to keep going because when u see messages like yours it really helps ❤️
Hey Sis! I 🫶🏽 you for your honesty and vulnerability. Discover your porosity and find a set of routine products that agree with your hair. Wash at least bi- weekly, deep condition every wash until it is healthy enough to skip it when you absolutely have to. Moisturize your hair regularly and listen to your hair. Know that you are not alone, we are in this together! 💕 New Subbie
I feel the same! The difference is that I can’t use protective styles😢 I really want to get a wig but it is very spensive. Is a hard situation 😅 but I really feel you❤

Thank you for the encouragement, natural hair can be frustrating at times but I know it’s worth it in the end. ❤
