I wish this Speak2 series had a built-in stand - that feature is fantastic! It’s especially great for someone using it in a home office setup, as it directs the sound toward you, providing better audio clarity than the upward-facing design.
Thank you very much for the explanation so series speak2 is a big crap. with 710 or 750 I have a stand to use and the option if with BT or not. Now no stand anymore and no option -> a necessary addon the dongle.
Wait - can you clarify something - if you know? Are you saying that if you pair the 55 via bluetooth to your laptop, then you can't use the volume or mute buttons on the speaker to control the call audio? We use Zoom and Teams. Jabra's website does have a disclaimer for the "UC" model about Teams not supporting all BT functionality through your computer's built-in BT, and they recommend using the "supplied Jabra Link Bluetooth Adapter" - so it sounds like the 55 comes with the necessary dongle. But they also have a "Teams" model, which says it supports all functionality and doesn't mention a dongle at all, so it's very confusing. Will either of these support the buttons when using Zoom if I connect via built-in BT?
Reach out to our team info@headsetadvisor.com and we can ensure you have When paired directly via Bluetooth to your computer/laptop it will have limited controls on any platform more than likely all you’ll be able to do is adjust volume up or down and of course mic and speakers will work just fine. Using the dongle with the 75 the computer will identify the speakerphone on Jabra direct software so you can update/adjust settings. AND this is what allows the integration for teams/zoom etc so you can answer/end calls, mute the teams/zoom or other app.

Yikes, I just ordered the 75. The keyboard noise was terrible on the 75. Looks like I'll be returning it. That's a game breaking weakness.

Will the Speak 2 55 pair with a Jabra 370 dongle? Thanks in advance.

theyre both awful for music, the 75 sounds better for meetings
I wouldn’t say awful…. But ya not the best.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Please review the Anker Conf series of speakers. They are better than Jabra and offer more value.
