Once again in previous videos, we have seen you use 10% ordinary niacinamide, WHY CANT YOU JUST PUT A DISCLAIMER THAT SAYS - BUT IF YOUR SKIN CAN TOLERATE IT THEN USE THE HIGHER CONCENTRATION. I’m so sick of these dermatologists changing their recommendations and making it seem like everything is black and white, no gray areas. Stop it
Well she did have a new video or short were she mentioned that studies recommend around 5% niacinamide but if your skin is tolerating the high percentages then continue using it but id your skin doesn't or you are still new it's best to use the 5%❤. I guess even doctors make mistakes.
@@snowy_sparkly9397 okay but can these doctors be transparent and put an honest disclaimer when they talk to the effect of “I know I’ve used a higher concentration and promoted it previously but to be aligned with studies and less irritation, this is the right amount” don’t just ignore what was said previously.
My guy. She was rating the most highly concentrated products from the brand. Those products are meant for people who are experienced in using those ingredients. She needs to review the regular products that are more gentle and safer for sensitive skin.
@@TheCRYSTALLUREshe didn't speak towards the brand specific ingredients she's only mentioning that 2-5% is what's recommended yet recommends 10% Niacinamide is a separate video. The only thing I can think of is it possibly being brand specific due to it being a sponsored video 🤷🏾♀️💸
@@JFPRECIOUS mmm okay. I can see that. She does typicall have the issue with it being over 5% but like you said if their skin can tolerate it it’s fine but they all tend to have there preference of recommendations. 😅
ALSO wanted to ask i have facial hair and waxing and threading dosnt work for me it damaged my skin very badly so i use facial hair remover cream which also damages my skin and makes it very senstive do you recommend derma planning i m scared if that damages my skin aswell thanks in advance.Sorry doctor v I m a bit annoying but I want to ask alot of questions
It's quite worrying she calls herself Dr. when she doesn't have a GMC licence - med school is not enough. It implies she's a dermatologist which is misleading. If she has a PhD (I'm not sure) then that would be okay for sure
omg dr V!i have caught you today within the hour haha. so azealic vs alpha arbutin for hyperpigmentation? which do you prefer since you said in this video that the azelaic is just okay? would you recommend youth to the people mandelic acid (3% Mandelic Acid, 2% Salicylic Acid, 1% Gluconolactone) one of the ingredients down the list is citric acid. is that fragrance? or what.
@@vanitarattan alternative for same brand I guess. Dr can you do acne routine for oily skin for inkeylist and how to layer? Also for hyperpigmentation Thank you dr
I tried a few years ago peroxide benzene and it worked wonders, however after a few months one day I woke up to a horrible allergic reaction, my Face looked like it was burned, completely unrecognisable, had to rush to ER to get a shot and after a few days my face went back to normal. Be extra careful it did not seem I was allergic to that at first, but it turned out I was.
Retinol can be irritating. Do you use it daily? NEVER use it everyday when you are new to retinol. Use only a PM pea sized amount! First 1x week, then 2-3x week and when your skin gets used to retinol you can use it every night. You also have to remember to apply sunscreen daily when using retinol
I’ve used retinol for years at far higher concentrations that 1%. It really depends on your skin, not everyone tolerates it but many do (and for some the irritate is short lived and the skin gets used to it) I’m blocking this “dr” anyway - she seems to know very little or doesn’t bother to explain her position. There are better derms to follow.
Hi doctor v I wanted to ask when ever I use the inkey list 2% salsilic acid cleanser it make my skin little bit irritating and little sensitive I break out alot and I don't know which chemical exfoliate is going to suit my skin and I have dry combination skin thank you so much for teaching us so much about skin care❤

The retinol serums works great for me 😁
Dr V can you do a review on mandelic acid treatment from the Inky list

But you recommend the 10% niacinamide from the ordinary in your best the ordinary video??
Probably due to ingredient list too. we have to remember the ingredients per brand are not always 100% the same even if it’s the main ingredient.

idk if youve made your decision but you could do a patch test on a small part to see if you would gave a bad reaction
But the retinol is a serum?
what about the sacylic acid cleanser?
Main thing I was curious about.
their azelaic acid serum works just perfect for my rosacea

What is a good niacinamide
I need to give sephora a visit.

That’s interesting. I had that kind of reaction just after two or three days of using 5% BP Cream. Since then I stay away from BPO products.
Is 5% alpha arbutin safe
Could you please do Drunk elephant products?
What about Peter Thomas Roth that has 30% niacinamide. 😮
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
The azaelic acid is ok? That’s literally the only thing that got rid of my acne lol

Look for mandelic acid
It is the mildest form of AHAs
Or
Look for PHAs like gluconolactone, lactobionic acid, galactose
@Soumya Meghani oh yes thats true. Mandelic acid for sure
Waiting for faded video 😊😊😊every time am buying my serum I just remembered your voice (plz avoid)😅😅😅
