Bobby has added a whole other dimension to this band! They needed this little heavier boost to match what's out there now. And Joey is stronger than ever! Can't wait for October 1st. Please come to Canada next year!!

I just fiscovered Fates Warning the other and i have to say this is one awesome band. They have two guitars and they had Nick D'virgilio as their drummer and Kevin Moore as keyboardist. I like the singers approach to the sound of the band.
Can't believe it has been almost 10 years since FWX was released. Between this tune and Firefly, it sounds like a great welcome home for Frank Aresti. Am ordering this album right now. Can't wait to see them in December! Look forward to seeing them play At Fate's Fingers live!!! Sure hope they play it anyways! Glad to see you guys back!
This is progressive music! Nice shifts from calm to upbeat, a nice hit song without being too mainstream. I've only just begun listening to FW after being done with the rest of the big 4 progressive metal bands, and they rock!
I see the Tool (bass) references - still can't wait for the album! That's a pure FW song if there ever was one, love the guys evolving with every release
I wasn't sure about them without Zonder. I mean the guy is a monster and such a tough act to follow. I must say, Jarzombek brings it, and yet keeps it faithful to that FW sound. Yep, I'll be buying this one...

I became a FW fan not long after Perfect Symmetry came out, and I've loved them ever since. I miss Mark Zonder, of course, but Bobby is a great drummer, and while it's taken me a while getting used to his style with Fates, I am on board. And I have to say welcome back on an official basis, Mark Aresti! Having him back liberates Jim. It really does. Oh, and Ray has never sounded better.
Great Bass Player is Joey Vera, I actually got to see The Original 5 piece band of Armored Saint play live opening act for Quiet Riot, Whitesnake was middle slot and it was a fantastic mix of Metal but the Saint kicked everybodys ass who was at that show cause noone knew what they were in store for as the Saint took the ceiling off with their raw power, God Rest The Soul Of Dave!!!!!!!!! Sorely Missed!!!!!!!!!
I've been alternating between this and Dream Theater's new album back and forth for the last few weeks. They sound so good on my phone. Two masters coming out with great albums at the same time. Christmas came early this year!
Dream Theater has a new album coming out too. Fates Warning has toured with them before hopefully they will hook up again. See if Symphony X is available too. Dream Theater, Symphony X and Fates Warning now that would be an incredible concert lineup.
This could very well be the 10th best song on this album, but it still rocks! In time, this will surely be a 4 stars song on my itunes library, which is not bad! As for the comparisons with One and Pieces of Me, very accurate, but I'd add Simple Human into the mix as well. Can't wait for the release of this album, I already pre-ordered through CM Distro!!!

I love his work in Fates Warning's and Redemption's recorded music, but when I saw Redemption play live at Progfest 2012, Ray Alder broke my heart. He's not even a tenth of the singer live that he is with the backing of a recording studio. I desperately wish it wasn't that way, but it is.

Never heard Fates mentioned by Tool as an influence, they share some Progressive Rock influences like King Crimson. All I'm saying is this song sounds like a Tool song, and Fates did not sound like this back in the 90's. It doesn't make the song bad or anything, just pointing out a similarity.

This vocalist is trapped in the past, man. I know some people are probably happy to hear something "new" like this, but ... Perhaps its just a taste I have yet to acquire. Ill stick with DLC, Karnivool, skyharbor and Tesseract for now.

This song has a really cool Pumpkins/Tool feel. But only better than either of those two groups.... Mostly because Fates lacks the over bearing pretentious-ness that plagued the Pumpkins and to a degree, Tool....
A phenomenal progressive alt-rock band that's as good as Fates Warning while being completely different, but still gets both shat on and placed on pedestals by idiots of multiple shades.
Whomever mixed this disc needs an award. The crisp differentiation between members is just the icing on the cake.
