All the teeps in round 3 was likely because he wanted revenge in round 3 and he wanted to make a point. Sergio blocked nearly all his teeps in round 1. The two that he did land, it didn't even make him budge, Rodtang was the one that moved back after hitting the teep.

Also even if your leg was well damaged, throwing any sort of teep would cause pain, whether it’s your kicking leg or posting leg. If rodtang wanted dominance he would of marched forward like he does famously and knocked him out. I’ve trained with a few thais and heard stories, especially in Thai culture, if by the last round you know you’ve won there’s no point damaging you opponent worse. Especially coming from a culture were they fight every week or second week just to pay the bills, and to put your opponent out of action for potentially weeks or months isn’t a “nice” thing to do. That’s not saying Thai fighters don’t hurt or cause injury to each other 😂 but when you’re that far ahead on points, and you’ve literally dominated the opponent, no need to cripple them in the last round. That’s a very western mentality, and what separates One from other fighting corporations.
