      His name is Kaonar PkSaenchaiMuayThaiGym. My fellow countrymen (the commentaries) keep butchering Thai names. Embarrassing. Anyway, Kaonar PkSaenchaiMuayThaiGym is a Muay Femue stylist (Femue are counter strikers with the highest Fight IQ then any other style in Muay Thai or any other type of Martial Arts style), is one of the Top Pound For Pound Nak Muays in his Weight Class, (Kaonar is not in his 100% Peak since early 2019) Former Lumpinee Stadium Champion and beat thy best Nak Muays in his weight class, (expect Panpayak Jitmuangnon and against Superlek Kiatmoo9, because their are rumors or it's the truth depending on how you look at it with facts, that Kaonar Gym paid off the Judges so Kaonar can automatically take the decision win if Superlek Kiatmoo9 could not KO or TKO Kaonar) and beating Rodtang Jitmuangnon was not highest caliber fighter that Kaonar has beaten on his resume. They are far more Superior Nak Muays then Rodtang Jitmuangnon in his weight class, (even when was Rodtang was at his 100% Peak and Prime).

      @totfosk Год назад +11

      I don't think it's an old version. Rodtang was called the ironman (in One) at this period of time already. This is what happens: none-thais 1. cannot take the damage he inflicts even if blocking 2. cannot damage him. He is just untouchable. But thais are trees. The only fight he did with a Thai in One (if I am not mistaken) was with Petchdam. That fight is very similar to this one. And it is the only one won by majority decision (so not unanimous like all or almost all the others). You can still see him doing his job (power punches etc.) but you won't see Petchdam running away while Rotang making fun. He does backup eventually but compared to the others who just cannot take it, bout is balanced.

      Boxing scores lower in Muay Thai. Elbow, knees and kicks are the preferred choice for winning fights. Hence why great strikers such as Ramon Dekkers had a hard time winning in the eyes of the judges.

    • @thronegame2864
      @thronegame2864 2 года назад +1

      Why are you talking about takedowns, they don’t count as points? Also, Kaonar was moving back most of the fight which is negative especially since he was not too active compared to Rodtang. If you’re listening to the announcers, you would think it was a 1 sided fight. I would have given a yellow card for the excessive stall tactic like takedowns and and holding by Kaonar. I am not sure what scoring system they were using to have Kaonar winning. If you see Rodtang’s last fight defending his belt, it was similar to the later rounds here, where his opponent was running around. The ref had to bring his opponent back to the center to actually fight. This seemed more like an exhibition fight.

    • @BOPBOPBOPBOPBOPBOPOB
      @BOPBOPBOPBOPBOPBOPOB 2 года назад +2

      @@thronegame2864 ...what? what on earth are u talking about? takedowns matter since they show that you are able to manipulate your opponent's balance, sure Kaonar was moving backward but he was hitting higher scoring shots, Rodtang couldn't wobble Kaonar, and also I rarely listen to non-Thai commentators since they always talk from a kickboxing scoring system point of view and not a Muay Thai scoring POV. Also observe that Rodtang's foreign opponents love to run away fast but Kaonar is literally just walking. If he was running like Lasiri or Haggerty he would've lost.
      Kaonar took more punches than he threw kicks, elbows, and knees but he still scored higher since his shot selection is inherently higher scoring than Rodtang's.

      Can't speak specifically on this situation, but in Thailand gambling at the stadiums is very common. Even the gyms bet big money on their fighters. Rodtang was already signed with ONE and was their champion. It could have just been a small thank you for taking the fight. It didn't seem like a lot of money. I have been at Rajadamnern stadium before and literally just walked to the back found a fighter and told him I will give you X amount of money to score a knockout and then you pay them out.

      Koanah stole the fight in round 4. It was Rotang's job to steal it back, but he couldn't. This is traditional Muay Thai not One fc

    When Rodtang body close to his opponent, he will lose becoz Kaonah is higher than Rodtang.

    How does anyone like these kinda fights. So if your losing your opponent can just grab and hold or throw you down and lay on you
    The announcers are having an or--am

    • @HappyBuffalo347

      I liked the fight. If Rodtang was better in the clinch he would have landed knees and elbows and the ref would let the action continue. If he had better balance he wouldn't have been thrown. I like Rodtang though, and his clinch has improved a lot since then. You can see how much he has improved in his fights against Superlek or Puric

    Really wish we could turn off the commentary, they kinda suck. In Thailand you fight to the rhythm of the music, latter rounds are faster, as the music picks up.

      P.s it’s so people have time to bet on the fighters, once the bets are in the faster pace starts.

      @SouravDas-oc3bl 2 года назад

      He was breaking his rhythm not stalling
      Didnt move away as well
      Gave more knees to Rodtang in the clench which is high scorer
      Kicks were also more from Kaonah.
      Also look out for his elbows as a counter to Rodtang's hooks
      It was a very close fight

    After this fight, I knew that I had no idea about classical Muay Thai. I thought this fight goes only 3 rounds. I was offended because of this T(h)ai Chi performance.
    Then came rounds 4 and 5. All right.
    Red seemed stronger overall, but Blue's throws tipped the scales, right? Does it count how you fall on the opponent? The position after the throw?
