If they cant knockout rodtang then he will definitely win by judge decision. Look at the face of rodtand at the end of the fight. He covers alot in this game than his previous games. Does his sweep scores? It seems thats his advantage in the last round

Yes, the sweeps score.
Not as much as a clean kick or knee, but he is showing so much dominance in the clinch with the sweeps.

I don’t know what One Fc tells their judges, but traditional in Muay Thai continuously off-balancing your opponent will score. I assume that it does in one as well, even though they clearly don’t empathize the clinch as much as they do in the Bangkok stadiums

Good fight ! I think Rodtang got rocked with those clean shots, he was another fighter on this one, closer fight than it seems.
IKR. Hamech landed more clean shots IMO. But round 3 I think the judges could see Hamech's fatigue. Rodtang the a point IMO
Hakim was doing very well in the fight. Hakim landed many punches, giving Rodtang a hard time. Had Hakim get better cardio, we don't know who would win the fight.

@@chiatjaddac4514 he says true hakim is a good puncher than rodtang hakim had very nice straight punch that pacquiao's have , pacquiao is killer with his straight punches and he kills all of his oppenent with straight punches, and i see hakim have it, and stoping rodtnag to have a more punch is a nice. And only rodtang to do is kick him because rodtang knows that he had a big advantage on kicking. Respect hakim stoping rodtang for agressiveness. That's rodtangs weakness.

So far only Hakim Hamech can stand toe to toe, punch for punch with Rodtang. Even Haggerty is nothing compared to Hakim. Great fight.
Its rare to see someone go toe to toe with punches against Rodtang without getting on their bicycle. It was a very close fight, Hakim scored most of the effective punches, but Rodtang controlled the fight and landed big elbows and knees.
Came for the Muay Thai, stayed for the Red Alert Hell March.

They talk about biased commentary in the ufc, but this match was a lot closer than the casters made it look for sure.

Agree! in fact, in the reply u see the French fighter landing clean shots and the commentator still taking about Rodtang . 🤦🏾♂️ a shame the French did not have more kicking skills, good hands though.

The only biased here was the judge who manage to give this to Hakim. It was a dominant win for Rodtang.
1. Hakim don’t kick even once in the fight. Rodtang lands several good kick in the first 2 rounds.
2. Rodtang totally controls the clinch.
3. Rodtang dictates the pace of the entire fight. He controls from long range with teeps and kicks when he wants. He engage in punches when he wants, and dumps Hakim several times just for fun.
4. Hakim connects with a few decent knees, but fewer than Rodtang. Hakim has good hands, and lands some shots, but kicks and clinch will always score more in Muay Thai. Especially since most of the punches Hakim threw didn’t land, and it was just a couple that affected Rodtang. Landing punches and then getting countered , or landing punches that have no effect on your opponent don’t win fights in muay thai.
RodTang picked this dude apart legs, punches and elbows the whole fight!
@@ellefsensbarmyarmy8491 Nah. It land. And it land hard. If you manage to make Rodtang lose his step and force him to use sweep, then you land it hard. Just look at Rodtang in the 3rd round. He literally lose his footing a sec. That means he is hurt. And those sweep heavy rounds? Never seen that from Rodtang. Hakim punches are hitting its target and he hit hard. From a kickboxing viewpoint, Hakim won. But this is MT. Gotta agree on you on the other points

1: use mt technique. Mt Sweep>elbow/knee>kicks, block or not>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>punches.
2: acting macho while getting hit
3: screams and act like you won the round..

If you pay attention Rodtang was quite strategic in this fight. Hakim has better reach and punches. At the beginning he dominated Rodtang to the point Rodtang had to use kicks at distance and try to get close and mostly used elbows. This fight Rodtang just outlasted his opponent by stamina

Just love how Rodtang close in on attacking range, sometimes with leading elbow, tuck/duck and just glide towards opponent chest looking like going for a headbutt, just amazing.
Hakim Hamech had a good fight against Rodtang ! He never ran away ! Not many farangs can do this ! Great and tough fighter !
In terms of pure striking, hakem definitely wins. Rodtang was smart to turn it into somewhat a wrestling game by constantly sticking close and throwing him to the ground.
Hakim landed cleaner and way better shots then Rodtang . I think you guys need to stop hyping Rodtang up so much and give the fight to the real winner , HAKIM !!!!
Seriously Rodtang got lucky Hakim made the funny decision to fight a Muay Thai match with the « boxing only » handicap.
1) Hakim was tougher
2) Hakim got a better boxing technique overall
What saved Rodtang was his clinches and the fact that he was the only one kicking.
Regardless I still think that Rodtang won the match.

This is kickboxing not wrestling. The commentators were biased towards Rotenk. They even went as far as to say, " he takes it and counters" he misses the counter and gets hit again. They celebrate each shot from rotenk , but when his opponents lands something they don't say anything or complement Rotenk for taking the shot. Clearly, whoever was the championship will have to beat him decisively.

Both fighters got Dazed near the end of the fight. That's when you know both of them were hard hitters. Awesome fight! Hamech was very tough here! Rodtang had fun :D

Hakim landed cleaner shots IMO. Both won a round in my view. I think the judges gave the 3rd to Rodtang cuz Hakim was showing fatigue. But the fight was closer than a lot of people think

So...I get that Rodtang is young and really good, so he's a golden boy in the commentary view. But this reminds me of listening to the Jan/Israel play by play to an extent; they talk about everything he does in breathless terms while rarely mentioning anything Hamesh did and certainly not in complimentary terms.
Regardless of the bias in the play by play, fantastic fight. Pedals to the metal all the way.

yeah id give round 2 to hamech. Round 3 coulda gone either way but Hamech was absolutely exausted by then. Rodtang keeping his head down and being less aggressive might just be a strategy.
Lol, Hamech was on his back the whole time. Rodtang never stop hunting Hamech the entire time. Hamech was tired and looking to his corner for help...Hamech lost 100%
@@4fastponies351 oh yeah no doubt hamech lost. 3rd round he was dead tires. but all match long he was throwing clean punches which had to count for something. Hamech split round 2 at the very least. Just my 2 cent is all

I was amused with the people in the comment section how clueless and ignorant of the point scoring system works in Muay Thai. Anyone in the comment section need to read this so you can understand how Rodtang completely outclassed Hakim. It wasn't a competitive fight whatsoever. So understand how points are scored and get familiar with sport before you comment. No offense. Hakim was punching through the entire fight from round 1 to 3. One he was hardly landing any clean significant shots, 2 he was not engaging by throwing enough shot besides the 3 round and number 3 is the most important. So read this carefully. Punches do NOT score that high in Muay Thai. They are the least scored points (also leg kicks) because they are less damaging than the other 6 limbs. The number one highest scored point are elbows, then knees to kicks and sweeps and dumps are highly scored and if you're completely dominating in the clinch. Which Rodtang did through the entire fight. Hakim only threw 3 to 4 knees max with only 2 knees that landed with no power behind it, with one elbow that missed it's target and 1 sweep and 1 dump. That was it. Rodtang was aggressive but pressure his opponent with precise shots and landed multiple knees, kicks, elbows, punches with sweeps and dumps from round 1 to 3 especially the second round, he absolutely owned that round. Rodtang completely dominated this fight. It was like a Kru completely schooling the student.
