I have had both good and bad experience with this system. Line 19 to the Vatican was very nice, fast and efficient. Pretty ride too. Line 3 from il Colosseo to Istruzione was bumpy, incredibly slow, incredibly crowded, incredibly hot. In fact, at one point it stopped dead in the street, the lights and AC went out, and people began yelling at each other.
Most of the older ones will be replaced in the coming years. IIRC the oldest still running trams are from the 40s. Although, I think some of the tech has been modernized.

Does the tram at 4:20 still serve Rome?
Yes ahahah, it has 70+ years I think
Could be a world record 😜
But is is still in service?
@@metropolitantransit7276 yes but not for long
What a beautiful network of beautiful trams Roma has! Love it!
Boom. Yes
If a few of them were in Sarajevo
The system doesn’t seem to be in good shape
It is not
It nearly died completely 40 years ago.
Great to see single-headlight trams still running…
