- This narrow gauge interurban line formally went from Rome, Laziali to Pantano. It was cut back to the city limits on 7-4-08. It is now known as the Met.Ro. The older cars were built in the 1920s but have been rebuilt with modern controls and a spartan interior. They still have the great sound of a conventional streetcar.
Ding ding! I'm a tram and I approve this video! Great footage!
Happy to know that someone is interested to our Pantano tram. Poor her (It's female) she's very old (June 1916) she always forgets to leave, she looses her way 3 times a week. She's aspecting the "C" line of subway, then she will die in childbirth....((((((!!!!!

Never marry a railroad man, they'll leave you if they can. All they think about is the train and going off to the end of the tracks.
Mama Mia!
Perfectly suited to the clearances there. Too bad the older? trainsets have been defaced by vandals in the name of 'art'. Willing to bet very few beyond the graffitist know or care what he (or she) put on the sides of the cars.
When did Rome finally tear this out? I know Rome was switching over to subways not that long ago.
Che schifo di treno , ma possibile che ancora non lo abbiano sostituito?
What a shame!
