GSP was suffering horrible stomach pain during training for this fight. I think it was diverticulitis. Training like that is brutal. To top it off, expectations, fears, etc had to be piling on. Monster motivation. I'm happy both fighters had so much respect to show and put on a good showing. Bisping gave him a good fight that GSP can be proud of when he looks at his legacy.

The forehead is the thickest part of the skull. You can't really knock someone out with strikes to the front of the head. Knockouts come from the side, typically on the jaw or temple
