Thanks mate! Yeah it's a great bit of kit, they have a bit of a delivery delay on Amazon but do have them in stock on the DJI website for next day delivery :)
My understating was that the presets do nothing when you use the Mi shoe adapter. All they did before was adjust receiver output gain, and that is disabled with the adapter. Try it yourself. It’ll probably set it to something like +9 with a preset, but you can manually adjust it all you like and it won’t change the level if you’re using the Mi shoe.
auto-off of the receiver doesn't work with the camera adapter (i do have latest firware). When i turn camera off, receiver asks "confirmation" but then no matter what I do, I have to turn it off manually. Anyone had that and had a solution for it? I am using a Sony A7M4. Without the adapter and just using with an analog cable, auto-off of receiver (based on camera on or off status) works just fine,
if you plug a shotgun mic into the 3.5mm mic jack on the camera whilst the adapter is attached then the shotgun mic won't work as the camera prioritises the adapter as the audio input.
@@BarbsterFilms I’ve literally got the same model and tried this today, didn’t know it wasn’t compatible.. which makes 0 sense. Still need to use the aux! :(
Damn I need to get one of these! Great vid 👍👍👍

Do you know by any chance? Does it work with SONY ZVE 10 II ? Thank you
after a quick google, yeah it looks like it should work with that camera
If you have a Sirui cage, the shoe is being blocked and you have to take the top part of the cage off to use this adapter.
To automatically turn the DJI mic on and off with the video camera there is the setting to be placed in the receiver
What if i plugin the adapter and the receiver is off.
Can i still get the audio signal from my camera body or i need to unplug?
you would have to unplug it
If you use this adapter and also a cam mounted shotgun mic plugged into mic in on the cam what happens?

One would need fx6 for 4 channel recording i read somwhere.
what would happen if a friend and me are recording an event and we have the same DJI Mic 2s? His kit and my kit.
do you mean that only one of you have the dji receiver from 1 kit? Or that you both have your own separate dji mics and receivers?
2 receivers, 2 mics
@@bobmusikk the mics talk to their receiver independently so they won't interfere with each other
mine says “this accessory is not supported by the device and cannot be used” when i plug it in, does anyone know how to fix that?
did you check that the camera is compatible with the adapter?
I have the Sony zv1 m2. On the camera it says this device is not compatible smh
That's a shame. If the camera has the Sony multi interface shoe then I'm surprised it won't work.

@@ridingthejckwve Aw, so the DJI Mic 2 camera adapter doesn't work for the Sony ZV-1 mark 2?
Con on people!!!!, you said everything but how to connect transmitters to the receivers?? When using Sony cameras!!😮
