Hi Pierrick, thanks for sharing your personal experience about this. I am 50 years old and work 30 years in the IT industry. I am an animation/modelling enthusiast in Blender and I am learning it and doing it as a side project in my spare time. Btw. thanks for your courses. I love your videos and your tutorials! This is EXACLTY what i needed, im 2 year of of art school and i landed a volunteer position with an animation studio as a junior! Ive learnt a lot but now i am dabbling into animation and i have had amazing mentors and colleges willing to help and give me a shot. I do agree that now there are more jobs in the industry! You got my flame burning even brighter now! Good evening Pierrick, I’ve been looking into attending next year’s GDC event after watching your video. Since this will be my first time attending, I’m trying to figure out which pass would be best suited for my goal, which is primarily focused on networking with companies and landing a job.
I’ve read mixed responses online-some say the Expo Pass is sufficient for networking, while others recommend the Core or All-Access pass for a better overall networking experience. Additionally, many mention that the after-parties are the best place for networking.
Given your experience, I’d love to hear your thoughts on which pass would offer the best opportunities for someone like me who is primarily interested in networking and job opportunities.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Pierrick, everything you shared in the video was great to hear, both as inspiration and as a sanity check in general. Is it possible that you, in the future, share a bit more details on where, how, what's okay to share on social media to help be visible but still maintain a moniker of professionalism without having the doubt of whether or not a post is worth putting online? Also how frequent should you do it etc?
Thanks for all the work you do and share, love what you do. Have a nice one.
