I found this destination by accident 35 years ago (& returned yearly) & what a fishing mecca! Back then, and in the local pub a photo of a 9lb bream was hanging on the wall (he caught 40 bream between 4lb to 9lbs - a once in a century school). A 27lb flathead was caught a few years ago in the back creeks. There are so many spots to fish - it's crazy . . . Huge flathead and everything else from the rock walls! Rated in the top 10 BEAUTIFUL destinations in Australia . . . Mass running tides in the river! Fishing picks up from September . . . & yes a 9lb bream again! And what's hilarious, 95% of Australians have never heard of this beautiful destination!

I have Turned a few of those Blade Fish vibe lures into shrimp Lures like the Eco Gear Shrimps. They work well and are about $3 each compared to $20 for the eco gears.
Nev, thanks for the great vids, absolutely love your style. I do have a question about safety though, and that is, how do you decide when you do, and when you don’t, use the outriggers on the Kayak. Obviously if the weather is calm with no winds, you expect to be ok, but the weather can be so unpredictable, wouldn’t it be better just to use them all the time. Just a thought. Cheers mate.
Hi from S.E. Alaska I use mine every time. Waters too cold ta flip. I'm workin on some heavy duty outriggers that'll handle rocky shores. Time for an upgrade. The set I'm replacing was an early Covid project. Ain't no better way to social distance than kayak fishin. Peace Brother.
Hey nev, can you try do another vid where you use bait and target gummies, snapper. Etc? And also when you target Flathead what is your go to soft plastic?

I’m pretty sure he only uses them offshore when it is forecasted to be a bit dodgy.
