I met Scott Snyder this weekend at Megacon! It was incredible to finally thank the people who made the book that got me into comics (twice), Court of Owls.
I loved this. Between Snyder & Williamson they just really seem like down to earth dudes who still have a love & passion for the artform. Sal also is a great interviewer. Comic Pop has come such a long way & it feels good to see these guys get their flowers.
Know he was talking about just one specific time but the fact that he made more from WYTCHES than BATMAN at any point is kind of a shock. Good for him though!
Scott's got some hot takes on the industry. I wouldn't mind hearing more. I personally find discussions on the enterworkings of comicbook culture fascinating.
