Thanks again for Hasbro and Out Of Darts for arranging this review sample. It's great to see that Hasbro's first effort towards a pro lineup is off to a great start.

People are complaining about the price but for someone who doesn't mod like me i think it's more than worth it. Great review as always my dude.
It’s a solid blaster for the price in my opinion. Especially when you factor in not needing to mod it yourself. Good priced mags, works with all darts, 3s protected lipo, and a snappy trigger. What’s not to like?
I don't mod either , I still say that price is high , dartzone could and did donit for like 30$ less , just saying , it needs a price drop , then watch it sell like hotcakes
@@timothyscott1951 except the Dart Zone Omnia hit shelves with problems. Least Nerf put out a blaster that works properly right out of the box.
@@timothyscott1951 The 120 price tag was prolly because this was released before NerfBall. I had a feeling it'll drop once the event debuts
Other then the Iconic Stryfe, I would love to see a Rapidstrike version. The included battery is such a bonus. Nice Rapid fire, that was quick! You’re holding a Nerf blaster and said Proud, Alright! I’m sure the price will drop eventually. Thanks for the review!
We need a Nerf Pro Deploy X next. That would be pure fire.
I’m so down for that!
We can be friends lol, I couldn’t agree more!
As long as they actually give a nerf barrel lug im down. I love how the deploy kinda looks like a qbz and i like it but im not good enough at modding to make it useful
Awesome! Glad you were able to get one early! I'm so HYPED to get my hands on this! With the Stryfe X and the Double-Punch, the future of Nerf looks brighter than ever!!! I wonder what blaster will get the Pro treatment next!
I’d bet Rapidstrike. But who knows!
@AmericanFoam That would probably be the most likely! I'd love to see the Hail-Fire or Infinus at some point!
I'd like to see an Alpha Trooper Pro
@@thefett4207or a titan pro. Imagine a pro version of the elite titan that have 50 rounds and can shoot 150 fps and have a rate of fire of 10 darts per sec😂😂😂
It's awesome that Nerf sent this to you! Great review!
Thank you!
@@AmericanFoamI sure hope Nerf makes a Pro springer. This blaster is a little out of my price range
Love the nostalgia of the old intro song!
Nice, it's incredible they sent it to you. My favorite review of the Stryfe X so far.
Thanks!!!
This is so great, I’m so glad that this performs well and it looks so fun and that trigger! Thanks for the awesome video and honest demo Brad! Credit to all the modding community for the years of hard work. You all set the standards that nerf brought the Stryfe to!
Lovely blaster! Definitely worth the price if you haven't gotten into LiPo yet, since the equipment to DIY is so expensive.
Hope to see it pop up here in Europe soon!
Excellent review as always! I really can't wait to get my hands on a Stryfe X when it launches in October, it looks absolutely phenomenal and I love that it has a truly safe and dummy-proof rechargeable 3S LiPo battery. I'll be pre-ordering one next week ^_^
American Foam
Wow what a fantastic video of the fantastic new Stryfe. Thanks for the great video. Keep up the great work
Great to hear your thoughts on it my dude!
I had such a good time with this one.
@@AmericanFoam I imagine you would bro! :D
Great review!
Thank you!
I really like it, but I’d rather buy a Nexus Pro or something like that because I can’t justify $120 myself.
This would have been huge 5 years ago. Still significant 3 years ago. But it seems too little too late for the price to me. Im glad that Hasbro is employing people from the hobby, and listening to some of what we want. However, I feel like as a company, this is the bare minimum that they could do to enter the space.
As we've seen with Dart Zone and the Omnia, there's only so much innovation one can shove in until it catches up with you and inevitably fail
I think for the most part, the Stryfe X is a foolproof way to introduce people who haven't modded into the hobby
Mod potential:
Didn’t get a good look at those wheels but they look like they could be replaced by something better.
Add that barrel lug, because I like to stick little decorations on my blasters.
Trim out the plastic under the jam door that they left in there for some reason.
Probably too much work to make it accept full-length darts, which is unfortunate because those work better in flywheels 😢 and I just like the feel of the full-length mags for nostalgia reasons
Very exciting!
Was that the Dart Zone Max Omnia Pro I just saw in the range footage? I hope the review is coming soon!!!!!!
Check Walcoms community tab. DZ is recalling the Omnia due to various issues it has. Mine had them too. To their credit they’re investigating and fixing the issue and then relaunching the blaster. A little disappointed but they’re doing the right thing here.
@@AmericanFoamCan you explain the issues because I purchased one and have no idea what’s going on. So far mine is working like it should I don’t understand the so called problems. But if they are saying there is something wrong then it doesn’t give me confidence to keep it.
Terrible trigger lag in semi auto and burst due to the electronic pusher. Mine was so slow to fire form the trigger pull I’d never recommend anyone buy the blaster. And then it also shoots a few feet to the right. Like I couldn’t hit a target from 40 feet away aiming down the sights.
@@AmericanFoam That’s a bummer I guess the average consumer won’t notice these things but the real aficionados will. Also I think since the Stryfe X is coming out and doesn’t have these problems people are going to prefer buying that. I just hope that Dart Zone does good with people who purchased this blaster and if they release a revised model make it a free switch. While it will be unfair to review a faulty blaster I think RUclipsrs should be allowed to make videos explaining the situation. I don’t like that Dart Zone is silencing RUclipsrs about showing what is going on. Seems like they are going to screw over the people who already purchased the faulty one. They will release a revised version and act like this problem never happened I hope the do the right thing.
@@Marco-em2in Anyone who fires a faulty one will notice both of those issues. They're not subtle. I've seen a vid of one shooting A LOT to the side.
I really love the accuracy test, since blasters are only fun when they consistently hit where you're aiming. Question: is the dzp mk3 anywhere near as accurate as the stryfe x with half lengths?
Solid review as always! Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these things.
Think this means we can forgive them for the entire elite 2.0 line
😂
As much as a love letter as this is...elite 2.0 was UNFORGIVABLE
Everyone complains about the price wlbut we all know we'll be buying these for $80 on an amazon sale
They did the thing!
For the upfront cost of the blaster, I think they should offer additional batteries for purchase. Even if it is a more-generic battery they intend on using with future pro blasters; as long as it plugs into the same socket...
100% agree.
Second, Also great video!
Nice to see that nerf is doing something
Not active at all in the hobby anymore, but this is insanely great
It’s an easy recommendation for those who just want an easy, off the shelf solution for pro level games.
Do you think that this will go on sale to under $100 around Christmas time?
I think it’s pretty cool I don’t think the price is worth it though Well, actually yes. It is worth it. It could be a little bit cheaper. But you can get better deals for different blasters. I think a good example is the mk 3 by dart zone I think
The MK3 needs to be modified and tinkered with to be what it's supposed to be out of the box. There are very good reasons it's so heavily discounted now.
@@Stevenwave- yeah exactly but you can also perform good with normal batteries. It actually makes use of those six AA’s I think. It does have six AAs, right?
@@FAZMANFAZER Regardless of what batteries you're using, it has issues, that's the point.
for nerf yes , 120 is still high , if it drops to like 70-80 then sure , but 120 is more then the omnia , which has more features , just saying
Good nerf gun
Is this cool? Yes, but! This does not make up for all the subpar blasters being put out while dartzone, xshot and worker have been feeding the hobby space
Anyone know where I can get one delivered to uk
cool how they giving the smallar youtubers this gun
It is pretty cool that they did. Out of Darts did help with the launch and he knows most of us pretty well so big props to him too!
@@AmericanFoam cool, I love your thrft videos
Thanks dude. There’s more on the way too.
@@AmericanFoam Thats cool i like to binge them, i went to a thrift store and found a stryfe, helios, barricade, and white kronos
Well not selling seperate batteries would be stupid
A questionable move for sure.
@@AmericanFoam I fully expect an aftermarket solution to pop up either way
@tasmaniac1 it would certainly be easy enough to add an xt60 connector.
Ok why didn’t they add a barrel lug so that I can have more attachments?
Any preexisting nstrike barrel attachments would probably hamper performance (like always) and even potentially cause jams since they weren’t designed for high fps velocities is my thought. Maybe if they made barrel attachments with a wide ID then it could work, but this is a short niche product. They barley made any attachments for Rival and that was incredibly popular in its time.
Thanks for the info but if they add attachment to it then I will run it thanks 🙏 for replying been a fan@@AmericanFoam
Does the mag fit in a Harrier?
Yes, they're all talon mags
I want to see a Roughcut Pro hitting around 120-130.
Oh dang. That would be cool.
@@AmericanFoam imagine instead of a dual stage trigger an actual dual trigger, right/left.
Why didn't you say katana or talon mag? Is there terms in the contract that say you can't?
There’s no contract. I was just being cheeky. It takes talons, Kodas, and Tachis just fine. Not katanas or dz mags though.
@@AmericanFoam ahh. You are under a NDA too 🤪. Probably also part of the illuminati
Just got mine from Amazon dead on arrival😢.
Battery won’t charge or the blaster is having issues? Either way that’s a return and replace. That sucks. Great product but getting a defective units always sucks.
@@AmericanFoam Yeah it sucks I thought it was the battery that needed charging so I went to charge it. It was charged almost full because the red light turned off in like 10 min so I slapped it on the blaster again but still nothing. I thought maybe there is a power button on the blaster to turn it on but couldn’t find none. I believe it should work as soon as you place the charged battery on I think the problem is the blaster. On the bright side I’m getting my replacement tomorrow from Amazon so I won’t have to wait long to use it. Hope I don’t get another dud hopefully the replacement one works as advertised.
@@AmericanFoam Just got my replacement and it’s also not working I am so disappointed 😔 . It’s unbelievable that I got two duds seems to be a widespread issue with this blaster. Beware of purchasing it from Amazon because that’s where I got mine. I don’t know what I’m gonna do now $120 bucks and got two duds Nerf needs to fix quality control asap.
Yeah.. No! There was a time when Nerf used to do gimmicks with their blasters. Now they do gimmicks with their prices. In my opinion this is a slap in the face of the mod community because this blaster could have only been made possible with the help of the aforementioned group. They're cashing in relies on piggyback riding others ideas and innovations. Also showing up with this to a nerf battle, to me at least, would be just like a rich kid showing up to the neighbourhood custom race meeting with the latest stock Mercedes. And don't get me started on the benefits of modding a classic stryfe compared to this robbery
That seems a little extreme in my opinion anyway. The person at nerf that helped develop this blaster is a mod community member. That’s why it’s very similar. And pay to play is nothing new. Same story with the dart zone stuff there. Showing up to a war with a Nexus or Omnia is kinda “low effort” too but who cares. This and DZ pro stuff generally isn’t marketed at modders either. Just enthusiasts that don’t want to mod or have spare cash lying around.
@@AmericanFoam there is a difference in prices and from what I know, I'd rather support a rising brand which will only provide more options and a lower price then feeding the same gargantuan name while also helping it to develop with intelectual property. If modders wouldnt have put time, effort , ingenuity in order to make blasters more powerful, nerf would have kept us in the same 70fps loop. Now when hype is real they want to jump on the wagon and cash extra from the exact same people that did all the hard work and set the trends? Can't see it happening.
@@AmericanFoam I understood that Luke was coopted for this project, and no one is denying his credits. Heck, I even bought his book and learned from it. But the fact that he co-produced does not mean the community needs to support this overpricing. And to be honest, reviewers should keep it 💯 and encourage people to mod their own blasters or develop the skill to do so,skill which is helpful on a larger scale, as we all know, the same way you all did until now!
Bro I agree with you 100 % they show up late to the party under perform and over price, me personally I will be going with the Omnia when it’s new batch comes out. For only 90 bucks you get more features like select fire, you get 2 magazines and you get a stock. This blaster is a definite no for me.🙅
@@domnulpuiut732 Luke/Out of Darts are not who Brad's referring to in development of this.
And on the modding side of it, I've watch OOD's, Xavier's and this review of it, and none of them have said this replaces or necessarily fills the exact same role as modded Stryfes. What this offers is out of the box, turn it on and play performance, as Brad said.
How uncritical fanboys get when nostaligia plays in.
