Wow ! Nice job ! I have a 19 Pilot Elite it has a glossy Black finish I had a quote to have it done they wanted 250 yikes ! I may try this as I’m sure down the road it will get all scratched up Thanks again for the vid.!
Hey Ed, I’ve been watching your videos on how to change the different oils on the pilot then I seen this video and I realize that I just bought your old pilot!! Small world
Outstanding job yep I bought an 18 pilot faded looks like crap I’m about to do this you made it look so easy. I think patience is key! Great work and yes it looks way better than factory!!
That looks awesome! I had the same 3M Carbon Wrap on my 2019 Passport! I also had the small shiny strips on both Doors and the (2) strips that runs across the Dash done as well. Cost me $400, so doing it yourself is a great thing...!
WOW Feel like you could have gotten real carbon fiber pieces for that price Considering a roll of wrap is $15-20 😂 Man who ever did it charged you a lot
I think that looks really good. I have a 21’ passport and I was thinking of doing a few interior pieces to add a bit of character to the bland look. Great job.
I hate that fucking bezel lol. it’s the surface, it’s made of a weird finish. Always looks dirty no matter how many times you clean it. I’m actually thinking about doing this too. Thanks for the vid man. Hope mines comes out as good.
That’s depends on your skill level. It’s certainly an easily paintable surface but with the constant temp changes a vehicle interior faces something semi permanent would be better
It looks awesome! Just bought a 2017 Pilot that has this flaw and when I saw it I thought to do the same thing that you did. Will buy this film and apply it. thanks
The only things I miss about the physical shifter was it’s a good hand rest, and the immediate response. Otherwise I have grown to like the push button version.
@@eddiesspeedgarage thank u! Based on ur experience, are these Hondas still reliable? Many reviews complaining about their issues with the infotainment system, problems with ZF9 speed transmission, and the VCM?? Thanks!
@@ishmo3269 I haven’t had any issue with my three vehicles in the time I have had them. I had a 2019 pilot Exl for 2 years 2019 passport exl 3 years and my 2020 ridgeline black edition 1.5 years only thing I had was a mouse ate the cabin filter in the pilot and passport a few weeks apart it is but isn’t Hondas fault
Thanks 4 video.... you don't have one for the crappy armrest

That’s awesome I miss that pilot but I love my ridgeline.

Oh wow that looks great. I want to do this and the trim piece across the dash in my 2017.
Looks like factory. Great job Ed
Outstanding! I will do this when my 2019 isn't looking new.
Make sure you never let hand sanitizer anywhere near it! Enjoy your vehicle and thanks for watching
Thanks for the video. I actually ended up just replacing that part but your video was helpful for the removal and reinstall of the new part!
The hardest part is getting it right at the cup holder opening. Lots of curves. Leave a lot of extra to roll underneath.

How about paint ?!

Awesome job!!!
Wish my Passport had a REAL shifter. I have the stupid push button.

How has that held up?
For the year I had it just fine.
Looks sweet, never heard of this before watching your video. Does it hold up?
As long as it applied properly the Finnish will outlast the factory! lol
I’m gonna give this a try on my Pilot, thanks for the video!
Looks Great! What vinyl did you use?
I got it from Amazon 10 for the roll
Great outcome! Is the wrap silver or gray? I want to get the same color...thanks!
Gray
If u get chance, can u provide the link to this color as Amazon has so many gray variants? Thanks!
@@ishmo3269 I put the exact link in the description.
