- The Summoner is back in Trials of Osiris, and it has some god rolls and amazing perk combinations you should know about. Here's my full review of the returning legendary auto rifle in Destiny 2 Crucible PVP.

Once that rate of fire got going that totally reminded me of the Doctrine of Passing in D1. That was a fun meta, loved my counterbalance adept doctrine.

With persistent passage i managed to get my 1st adept trial gun and it was a summoner with dynamic sway and target lock/rampage and it is a beast in both 3v3 and 6v6. Couldnt be happier with it and it will stay in my loadout for a long ass time.
i forgot about that passage, definitely hopping back in trials lmao

this thing was a beast even back when they first reprised it in witchqueen. So glad they decided to bring it back with completely stacked perk pool

When you hit that 950 RPM cap, my jaw just dropped.
I have a heal clip/kill clip thats been putting in work, but that was just bonkers.
Fell at the gates twice this weekend but finally got an absolute BOOTY Adept roll. Hopefully farming goes better tonight, used a plain Jane Onslaught roll all weekend and it pops off.
Well I got Arrowhead/AP rounds/Heal Clip/Kill Clip with a range MW so if that's the best I get I can't really complain.
Seeing that thing shoot at max stacks made me smile so hard!
Doctrine of Passing Jr.
I got my roll this past Monday before reset. I got one with Small bore, Ricochet rounds, Heal clip and Onslaught with a Range Masterwork. I took it into some Supremacy matches and got a "Ran out of Medals" very easily.
If you combine this gun and it's perk roll with that Titan exotic, Precious Scars. Whew boy, it slays in 3v3 and 6v6.
When you started showing onslaught, I was loading up Metroid Prime Trilogy so the chanting enhanced the experience to levels never before known to man
I almost got my first ever We Ran with this thing and it was a bare-bones random drop with High Cal, Dynamic Sway, and Onslaught with a reload masterwork. At first I was confused about how they'd react but then when Onslaught x3 basically chained into DSR I was blown away and instantly masterworked it. I LOVE this thing.
Gotta be honest, you inspired me to run Liminal Vigil and Summoner on my Arc Hunter and to run Trials a lot more. So thanks, dude. you inspire me to try harder in content like this.
Beckets is a corner at silver stone. Beautiful track that gives us some wild racing. Wsbk and watching those races are where it’s at 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

I got an adept to drop today with perpetual motion onslaught high cal and hammer forge the only thing I didn’t like was the reload mw but it is what it is. I had a lot of fun playing with it in 6s
This is the first time in quite a while that I’ve seen a weapon and perk combo in Destiny that I genuinely want… it’s such a vibe.

PvP and pve too
This is a fun gun. I'm also enjoying the Prophet. I run a swift verdict w/ Threat Detector and KC and pair it with the Prophet with Discord and Cascade Point.
Lot of people are hyped about KC on the Prophet, but D2foundry says it only becomes a 2 tap with T8 or les resil, for a TTK of .5. Cascade point brings the TTK to .6s but for all resils.
I was running auto’s for like the last two years. I haven’t played in several months…but, you are speaking my language with this one.
Summoner has been one of if not my favorite auto in the game since it originally dropped. I've been away all weekend but I can't wait to grind one out later when I'm home
I started using this Titan solar build and it has been fun. I’m still getting used to this build but when I can make it work it kills.
Tv needs to try that heal clip scars combo it basically makes you and your teammates around invisible. The amount of kill chaining and utility you bring with scars restoration and heal clip cure.
I was just getting ready to run with a last release Subsistence Rampage role to see how it will do.
I have a few rolls, healclip w/ incan/rampage and zen w/onslaught/rampage. They’re both great

Went into Trials solo. Got almost the same roll (heal clip and onslaught) as you except the barrels. But has the needed range masterwork. Still feeling the gun out, interesting gun for sure.
Between the F1 and the A7x reference, that be might convince me to bang my head against the wall for one of these

Got an adept one today with hammerforged, HCR, heal clip, and kill cilp + onslaught on the last column so i can swap to whatever i want with stability masterwork, thing's a kill chaining machine (also got one with DSR and target lock).

I managed to get 3 yesterday due to a persistence run and then a lucky ferocity run, theyre not the best but theyll do good for me

6:50 i understood those references only because i watched Top Gear/Grand Tour.
Just got my dynamic sway/onslaught, and yeah.... this gun is definitely a monster. Only guns I've had that does the things tv is talking about in terms of "I wanna go fast" are this and my Relentless. Got one to roll keep away/ desperado and that dopamine kick is massive. Pretty sure the trials pulse can get that same combo, but as a "feel" gun, relentless just jumped to the top of my list, followed closely by my new summoner.
I'm very jealous of your rolls dude, Trials has been brutal for me this week. Can't string the wins together at the moment, I might end up doing a Persistence card this week just to get a roll
I got I drop without flawless. It's a beast. I grinded to get it, hate trails but I was determined to get this. Only 1 dropped and it was the roll I wanted. Heal clip, onslaught
Interesting. I got the same roll on a non adept (HC/Ons)...assumed it was a shoe in for pve. Never dawned on me at all to try it out for pvp. I have another one I was using for pvp with dyn sway/target lock. Seemed pretty good too.
Grinded trials & got my roll - took for a spin in the crucible 🔥 ohhh my 👀
I haven't seen TV this excited...that alone dragged me into Trials 😂

This trials weekend was extra brutal in solo queue but the 25 summoner rolls in my vault make it all worth it
Omg heal clip and onslaught is such a fun combo, loving it in PVE it makes destiny 2 crazy silly fun again!!
This thing is crazy at PVE. Also never get top kills in crucible but i was top all day today with this thing. Trails, that another thing cause i suck at it. But pve and crucible this thing rocks.
I got the adept heal clip w/onslaught. I’ve never felt so godly playing D2.
I've got one with dynamic and onslaught. I'll give it a go. My adept one has perpetual And target lock and also feels nice
got this exact roll today on a non adept version! stability masterwork instead but everything else the same 👀
If you happen to have the rare gun from back in the day called The Forward Path its a beast... It has better stats than The Summoner and if you have a damage increasing perk on The Forward Path its even crazier.

I had been waiting so long for this gun to come back and I managed to get what for me is the god roll adept version, Zen moment and TL. I thought that my Messenger was the best PvP gun I had but wow this gun goves it a run for its money, I got a We Ran and fell in love w it. Def wont leave my character for pvp

That is true but if you have a messenger with rapid hit an encore it becomes a dueling machine. Also rapid hit an keep away is really strong as well :)
I wish I had that sense of positioning I see in your video, I almost never find myself in 1v1s...
I did get the monaco and silverstone reference, i am from the US. Favorite car is a e28 535is in zinnoberrot

Onslaught in 6v6 is disgusting but in trials, it’s really hard to to make use of it.I found that all the best damage perk in terms of consistency and uptime is definitely golden tricorn. 7 seconds is enough time to go and look for another person. Kill clip has crazy ttk and the fastest ttk next to onslaught x2, downside imo is that you do have to reload.
True true. Buuuut heal clip kill clip with solar reload mod for your arms makes it feel like you have outlaw I promise >:]

My experience onslaught is great because a second always rushes in thinking you’re an easy pick but I’m only an average player, it might be different if your a good player
Also kill clip has a better trk and you have 3 second before you have to reload but tricorn is nice, I dunno haha
I got a zen moment/incandescent roll that is really fun but
I have a zen moment/target lock and onslaught roll that just melts.
I have all the rolls basically perfect on adept. Heal clip Kill clip. Heal clip onslaught/kill clip. Dynamic onslaught/target lock. I got a elemental capacitor onslaught that hits 94 stability. The one thing I just cannot get at all Is zen moment I just have gotten 1 all weekend
Try Precious Scars on solar titan with that heal clip roll. Add restoration to the health bump from heal clip.

As a car guy, that Corvette line made my brain boil. There are so many cars that lack "finesse" and only excel in straight line speed and the Vette is not one of them.

We've had corvettes in the past but they gotten turn into Kia's. Desperado on Messager and Boardsword was a corvette at one time. Be looking for onslaught to catch a nerf.
The perk pool is so good! It feels like you cant get a bad roll. Every drop i got i either thought to myseld WOW this will be amazing in pve! Or wow this is gonna be crazy for pvp!
