Yes, the battle scene was hard, because those were the ones who took their own lives. Have you listened to Neon Gravestones? Great song. That's what that artificial light was that they used. Great reaction.
YES, best god damn track of the record
now we have another cliff hanger! hopefully it gets resolved quickly, likely either tomorrow we see something or June 2025 after the tour....but this isn't the end of the story
Such a crazy cliffhanger. you can see how much time and effort went into this. i like the parallels to jumpsuit at the end and the way tyler opens his eyes and looks at nico shows how much stronger he is, doesn't look like he is going to give in as easily as he used to. i don't think clancy will totally defeat Nico cos we never fully get rid of our fears but i think they might release another song or video at the end of the clancy tour to wrap things up more and show that Nico doesn't have as much control over him as before.
Least Clancy actually opened his eyes and faced Nico that is the biggest step. Cause eventually, we all have to confront the things that hold us back. I really enjoyed being a part of this journey. & I still want to react to all the other songs on the album. I actually reacted to Midwest indigo I just need to edit it. Loved the drums on that track 🥁 & thank you for always watching my twenty one pilots reaction. Really means a lot to me and I always appreciate your comments 😊💜
Phenomenal breakdown. That part at the end is the first time, ever, that Clancy actually faces Nico with eyes open, symbolic of facing his insecurities. I'm curious if the last notes are an intro to a yet unreleased song.
If you look at the aerial pf the zombiea and their light and turn the screen upside down, i swear it looks like "June 25" which may be when they intend to finish this once and for all. Maybe that's just wishful thinking talking.
Either way, Clancy is going to break the cycle.
(i assume its just the accent, but the vocal tone and way of speaking (or just how you look) really reminds me of Steven Adams (the basketball player)
Wow, you caught a lot! Their layers even have layers. Love that you picked up on the opposing lights. Tyler plays into a lot of light v dark/day v night metaphors. Truth is revealed in the light. The neon/artificial is man made, which is one way of showing how we can create our own problems. Then there's Josh's role as the Torchbearer, a guide who carries the flame. And little extra tidbit, the neon gravestones, like the alter in NatN vid, is an inverted TOP band symbol, a representation of how messages can be misconstrued or upside down, like vialism, and that fake light takes on its own power. Like what can happen when you mess with the Message, Man. 😉
