Lucky to have seen her live a couple of times and she's one of the rare ones that never performs something the same twice - and instead of fans feeling robbed of not hearing a "studio rendition" we're all just so amazed with her latest take. I've seen it befor and only few react to it, and I think it was one of the last time Sylja was with her, not shadowing the new back vocal, but I miss Sylja so much, I don't think that no one will ever ''feel'' Aurora and harmonise with her like she did.

Apart from the mesmerizing beauty of her performances, I find it interesting how I can't predict where it is going. It makes it an adventure. Especially the live songs, they are different every time. One of my favorite up beat songs is Churchyard, live at Kexp. There is a lot of energy, well worth a reaction.
I've never seen this performance of this song. People usually react to the version from "the current", because it's very intimate, and it's probably the most vocally impactful, but there are things I love about this performance too. I love seeing Aurora, and Silje singing to each other and acting out the lyrics. I miss Silje's vocals so much. I think a lot of music is true art. When you distance yourself from pop music, there is a wealth of true artistry to behold.

This is interesting. I found your channel today, through your reaction to Hi Ren, which gave you my instant sub. Then I looked through your channel and saw that you reacted to Aurora! I have had many favorite artists in my 70+ years. It started with Elvis, the Beatles and Jerry Lee Lewis. Continuing with so many other extremely talented artists over the years. But only two people have ever taken a strong hold on my heart and soul. The first was Aurora, which I found on Norwegian TV five years ago, with the "Haik" concert. She is a unique artist with an important message, and also an incredible person. The other is Ren. I found him in early 2023, through Hi Ren like yourself and like so many others. He has blown away all my defenses, all my hypocrisy (well😉) and all my preconceived opinions about myself, other people and about the world we live in. Despite the many years of physical and mental hell he has been and is going through, he is determined to providing humanity with songs and other content that is supportive, inspiring and healing. In addition, full of educational social criticism and calls to be better. All packaged in music and videos bursting with raw talent and beauty. He is a philosopher and poet and also incredibly funny. Sounds like an impossible combination, doesn't it? I look forward to more reactions to Ren and Aurora! Choose according to popular wishes or decide for yourself. Can't go wrong with these artists. Well, by the way, there is a good piece of advice. There is a very new Ren video called "Kujo Beat Down". Before you react to it, at least watch Sick Boi and Ren's 35 minute monologue about why it (temporarily) disappeared from RUclips and later all streaming platforms. I don't know if you, or anyone else for that matter, has read this far 😆, but if you have, I'd like to add that I'm enjoying your reactions so far! @@A-AronReacts I like all of them. But Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 is about actual murder. Her inspiration was an article about a man who killed his beloved wife, who was terminally ill and in severe pain. She does not shy away from addressing controversial topics in her songs.

It's fine to prefer this version, for any reason you might, but it should be pretty clear that 95% of the fans will be disappointed that was not "The Current"-version (or Nidaros-version). If there was some very specific context between the reactor and the performance (like knowing the venue, or prefering the specific instruments), it would be understandable. I agree, it's a pretty dick move to suggest it, without giving an explanation as to why disappoint "everyone" else. They might have given such an explanation for all i know, but if so, it didn't reach the rest of us. Still, an awesome performance and reaction. It's fair to suggest anything you want, but I suggest that in cases like this, you can say for instance: "Most people seem to prefer, this version, but I would like you to listen to this particular version, because so and so...". That also provides agency to the reactor, who can anticipate negative responses, which could be a lot worse than it is in this case. In fact, I would recommend giving some justification for any suggestion and I think more reactors should look for that. but then again much are "pay-per-suggestion" and I guess money is justification enough.

This is not the best video of this song . You should watch the "Live at the Current one" . This performance is great but its not as good as at the Current recording.
Yes true art makes you feel. In in her case its what I feel from her songs that is disturbing. She has a beautiful voice but its her inner values portrayed by the messages of her songs that make me feel uncomfortable.

A song about domestic abuse , she gets many of her early song idea's from the newspapers etc I believe this was one of them.
