I don’t know how I found this channel, and I never thought I’d be watching barges of sand being unloaded but it is very satisfying 👍🏼

It is so inspirational to see you guys working in such dangerous difficult situations and not yelling at each other in frustration and anger because someone is not doing their job better.

I wish this would show the start to finish of the unloading. It would be sooo satisfying to see the barge completely emptied. But none of these creators will show it.

You and me both ☺️. It’s like me cleaning up my living room and then getting near the end then think sod it I’ve had enough and leaving it half finished. I like to watch gardening makeovers too. They are start to finish. Very satisfying. Sense of achievement. ☺️

This reminds me of the calving glaciers in Alaska and other arctic places.

Could you make a video from the very start, all the way to the end. No need to edit, just show the whole thing. Wish I found this channel during Lock Down. Time goes by so quickly watching this!

you know what would be a great view. if you put the camera at the end of the conveyer belt where it drops into the trucks.

thats right and sometimes an unfortunate labourer will do to feed its appetite....human bones and flesh keep the bearings and rollers lubricated

It was a great video until minute 15 when it changed to a different day. Why not make one video of one barge on one day?

Question! Do the hook and catch guys work as crew on the barge, or, because the barge sometimes looks different, do they work for the dock?
I’ve seen them working shallow and the steep sided barges.

Bandana boy is the only guy I've seen that constantly has to grab the cable on the board gaff. He'd annoy the f*ck out of me.

just need hydrolic machine shovel 10 feet wide to push sides in, and just use one long cable to pull all boards up leave a little slack in between them

In an environment where labor costs and workplace safety may not be the highest priorities, but simple maintenance is important, this might be the best solution.
