I Made A Speedrunning Game In Only 7 Days [Godot Devlog]

In this video I made a game where you have to speedrun to be able to beat the game. It is themed around cowboys and it took me only 7 days to make.

Okaay great game :) i played it all day and got a best time reaching the horse with ~20 seconds left (very improvable still). Can you add a timer at the end screen for actual speedrunning times?

the clips after 1:25 are from an earlier version with more speed gained from dash? u look a lot faster there than i ever managed to go

If you jump out of a dash and let go of the directional keys you keep all of your momentum and are able to get a higher jump, its just a little technique in to make it more interesting 👍
