Hello, those side pockets look like it will hold them , but do you know if the side pockets can fit a 40oz Klean Kanteen for certain?

Happy so say they will fit a 40oz KKanteen on the 33L so they will fit in the 44L as well

Yes. Not a particularly firm one, but it helps
Its a nice looking pack
Mate if you want a decent NI pack get a pre 2006 version. The 2007 or more versions are cheaper made.
