Wow you guys hate so much. Chloe is beautiful and so talented. Her emotion has improved tremendously , it made me want to cry. Love her and I'm so glad she's still dancing. She never gave up and kept her head up
There is no reason to take any time off to act. There is always a class somewhere, OR you can do a 30 minute warm up yourself in a closet. No excuses for a dancer. One day off his 2 days back and by the looks of things she took off a l o t. And at puberty is it hard to recover. I retired and didn't dance a step for 90 days, and then got an opportunity to dance in my home town. It took me a y e a r to get back into shape in order to do the one show.
I love Chloe and will always support her as a person but being an entertainer means opening yourself up to constructive criticism: she's not dancing at a professional-- or even pre-professional level. And at almost 16 years old, she should be. It's disappointing because she showed SO much promise as a kid and I know she has it in her to be brilliant but she's not there yet. She hasn't kept up her training and it shows. :(
+ThomasProductions2000 you can't always blame a disappointing performance on the choreography. Kalani gets half-assed choreography all the time but she still dances like a pro. I've seen Clementine and Chloe suffers from the same problems as in this dance. I don't really care for tricks, I just want to see straight knees, good form, and high leaps.
As much as I disliked how Abby treated Chloe.... she was a better dancer under Abby and Abby told her to watch her flexibility and it is very clear that Chloe hasn't.

Chloe had such a natural ability that Maddie did not have, BUT she didn't have the passion and drive it takes to train. She had the opportunity to quit school and train full time, and was "worried about missing her friends". I don't know a dancer quit school and never looked back. You can teach technique, but you can't teach passion.
this is not a solo for a 16 years old competing. She was dancing better when she was 9. I don't know if it's bad choreography that doesn't showcase her talent or if it's the only choreography she could do but she didn't improve.
It isn't great choreography at all but she has regressed a little, but that's okay, because she hasn't been competing and therefore hasn't been training or practicing, and hasn't been getting better or maintaining her flexibility. But there's nothing wrong with that, because she's doing other things and finding new passions, like acting- which she's getting pretty good at for a kid who didn't grow up acting.
The emotional aspect of this is beautiful and brought me to tears. People in the comments are saying about her technique and how she is ‘stiff’ but I’m pretty sure Chloe wants to be an actress and if she does then she has 100% improved there is something about Chloe that you can’t learn no matter how many classes you take

I'm 100% sure that more than half of you would not even be able to lift your leg high or do a turn sequence. Stop saying stuff about a 16 year old girl, stop comparing her to other dancers. At this age the judges are looking for emotions and trying to see if a dancer can tell a story. Chloe did that perfectly, you don't know the story behind the dance, nor can you hear the music clearly. Maybe this dance or this story like wasn't meant to have any tricks in it. Chloe is so much better than her season 1 self. She has improved alot and is a lot better than Maddie personally. She is always undermined and yet shes amazing. Its funny how the undermined kids do better than the kids who 'flourish' in these types of things
Chloe is a fantastic dancer, this comment section is bashing on her so much. The choreography shows how good you are of a dancer, when there's not a lot of it, it's hard to showcase your talent. This solo was about emotion and a storyline.
Everyone needs to understand that certain ages shouldn't have technical expectations. Our expectations should be based on their experience in dancing. Chloe is obviously not as good now as she was before solely because she stopped dancing for several years, that doesn't mean she won't regain the flexibility she had when she was dancing 7+ hours a week.
for people saying chloe is lacking in flexibility, etc: she took a long break, her flexibility and skills are not going to remain as they were when she was 9. calm down, she will eventually be on the level she was but she really just got back to dancing

I love how everyone's saying that Chloe has lost flexibility, well when you get older, you lose flexibility, and at studio 19 they don't do as much harsh stretching and competitions like in Aldc. Both studios are very different and they're both great.

To be honest, i think Chloe is capable of a more difficult choreography. The dance started with pretty great choreography which i think showed her skills a little bit but it then progress to simple dance moves. Chloe may not be the most flexibility dancer but her flexibility still allows her to dance and there are dance moves that doesn't requires insane flexibility yet show her techniques at the same time. Maybe people have been saying she has regress, i think maybe a little bit. She's not incredibly outstanding to me but i feel that she still a good dancer. Chloe fit in perfectly well in the grp dances!

She took time off to act. Obviously she isn't going to get better when she's not training or practicing. She's competing again, so she'll get better and gain back some of the flexibility she used to have. Dancers can have other passions too.
Hiyoko Saionji you have to consider the time she took off to act and that she wasn't training at competition level. The choreography didn't look very challenging or suited to Chloe very much, so considering everything Chloe would certainly have regressed by some amount. But she's definitely passionate. And I'm not trying to be hostile and defend Chloe, I am her fan but I'm just stating facts. We are fans, yes, but we still are and have to be rational when expressing our opinions and not go around like brainless minions that bash anyone and everyone criticizing Chloe in comments.

When it is about your. career and future , you move.... sophia kaloudis is from australia and currently dance in new york... chloe ruined all her talent and flexibility. She is average now in dance and it is such a waste
No, I totally agree that Chloe should have taken dance more seriously. But the reason the other girls went to LA is because there were opportunities there. There are no opportunities in Arizona, moving wouldn't have been worth it. Especially since Club isn't a professional full time dance school.
Debs D. club is in arizona! i love how people just think dancers can just pack up and fly half way across the country away from their friends and family with no where to live just for dance. the only reason any of the dm girls came to aldc is strictly to film, similar to an actor just going to set for a projector then returning to their home. unless you're going to a dance school like master ballet academy or sab where dorms are available for the dancer to stay, no parent is just going to drop everything and move for no reason. they go to the best studio in their area.

I think more people need to appreciate Chloe, just because she is not doing flexible tricks doesn't mean she isn't flexible. I am happy to see that she left dance mums to do real dances that weren't Jam filled with tricks. Most of the most beautiful dances don't have any tricks at all.
There was a big chunk where she was literally just standing there. I think her emotion has improved but then again, when dancers get older they have an easier time with that. If she had beautiful emotion when she was 9 she would have been the total package. Now as a 16 year old dancer, she doesn't stand out much in the dance world anymore.

Besides, she came back to finish a season with her friends. I'm pretty sure after the show, she'll be going on to continue auditioning for films and TV shows, present a few shows, interview a few celebs and probably stop dancing anyway. So stop moaning people, and enjoy her dancing whilst you still can!
Hopefully Chloe pumps is back up to where she was ounce was since she's back doing solos , but it was great watching her do maybe she would start back being more focused and her flexibility will come back naturally and beautifully as before. ❤️🙂

Her combo’s show her progression, Chloe’s solo shows her regression. Just because she has not done a maddie solo since the show does not mean that her dancing could have regressed. She has been constantly sharing her combos and routines, all proving her immense progression, and she has been constantly still training and keeping up her dancing, and only training can equal improvement. NOT training/training just for fun equals regression. Chloe has not danced competitively for like 2 years and people still think she can be better than Maddie?

Y'all so extra. Chloe was NEVER flexible, even when she was the best dancer on the team as a 9 year old. She's much more focused on an acting career than a dance career, but maybe coming back to Dance Moms was an economic opportunity that she and her mom didn't want to pass up. Not to mention dancing with her friends again, I'm sure she missed that. Essentially, I think she's just doing Dance Moms for fun. None of the (ALDC) girls have competed in "real" dance competitions for at least 2 years.

Emma Gilmore 13 Reasons Why came out 2-ish months ago, and there has been a TON of hype about it for the past year. The book has a really large fan base and has since it was published in 2007. So if Cheryl Burke or whoever choreographed this dance was a fan, it'd make sense for this dance to be based on it

I don’t care if her flexibility has decreased... I felt this shit... right in my little black heart lol I thought this solo was perfect and was literally everything chloe. I always thought other than Maddie that she danced with a lot of emotion...not just her faces but that she lets the emotion flow through her body. I absolutely LOATHE Christie and I know that’s an unpopular opinion... but I LOVE Chloe and just everything about this dance, the song and the lyrics seemed like they were written for chloe.... I see regression in Chloe, like her flexibility is lost. And even thought she has matured, there's something that still doesn't convince me. She does the moves and do them right, but they don't seem connected, is like she is just doing them. I didn't feel any emotion with this solo and hope she later gets choreography that's a challenge for her.

not winning choreography... too easy for advanced dancer... not surprised dance moms ended, when on team with Cheryl, all their choreos were horrible
cheryl's choreo is not terrible, she just didn't work with the girls very long to know what's best for them
i feel this solo will be gorgeous up close in good quality because i saw high quality pictures of the solo and Chloe had AMAZING Emotion in the photos

Chloe is so much better than her season 1 self. She has improved alot and is a lot better than Maddie personally. She is always undermined and yet shes amazing. Its funny how the undermined kids do better than the kids who 'flourish' in these types of things
Chloe is a fantastic dancer, this comment section is bashing on her so much. The choreography shows how good you are of a dancer, when there's not a lot of it, it's hard to showcase your talent. This solo was about emotion and a storyline.

Everyone needs to understand that certain ages shouldn't have technical expectations. Our expectations should be based on their experience in dancing. Chloe is obviously not as good now as she was before solely because she stopped dancing for several years, that doesn't mean she won't regain the flexibility she had when she was dancing 7+ hours a week.
for people saying chloe is lacking in flexibility, etc: she took a long break, her flexibility and skills are not going to remain as they were when she was 9. calm down, she will eventually be on the level she was but she really just got back to dancing

I love how everyone's saying that Chloe has lost flexibility, well when you get older, you lose flexibility, and at studio 19 they don't do as much harsh stretching and competitions like in Aldc. Both studios are very different and they're both great.

To be honest, i think Chloe is capable of a more difficult choreography. The dance started with pretty great choreography which i think showed her skills a little bit but it then progress to simple dance moves. Chloe may not be the most flexibility dancer but her flexibility still allows her to dance and there are dance moves that doesn't requires insane flexibility yet show her techniques at the same time. Maybe people have been saying she has regress, i think maybe a little bit. She's not incredibly outstanding to me but i feel that she still a good dancer. Chloe fit in perfectly well in the grp dances!

She took time off to act. Obviously she isn't going to get better when she's not training or practicing. She's competing again, so she'll get better and gain back some of the flexibility she used to have. Dancers can have other passions too.

Hiyoko Saionji you have to consider the time she took off to act and that she wasn't training at competition level. The choreography didn't look very challenging or suited to Chloe very much, so considering everything Chloe would certainly have regressed by some amount. But she's definitely passionate. And I'm not trying to be hostile and defend Chloe, I am her fan but I'm just stating facts. We are fans, yes, but we still are and have to be rational when expressing our opinions and not go around like brainless minions that bash anyone and everyone criticizing Chloe in comments.

When it is about your. career and future , you move.... sophia kaloudis is from australia and currently dance in new york... chloe ruined all her talent and flexibility. No, I totally agree that Chloe should have taken dance more seriously. But the reason the other girls went to LA is because there were opportunities there. There are no opportunities in Arizona, moving wouldn't have been worth it. Especially since Club isn't a professional full time dance school.
Debs D. club is in arizona! i love how people just think dancers can just pack up and fly half way across the country away from their friends and family with no where to live just for dance. the only reason any of the dm girls came to aldc is strictly to film, similar to an actor just going to set for a projector then returning to their home. unless you're going to a dance school like master ballet academy or sab where dorms are available for the dancer to stay, no parent is just going to drop everything and move for no reason. they go to the best studio in their area.

I think more people need to appreciate Chloe, just because she is not doing flexible tricks doesn't mean she isn't flexible. I am happy to see that she left dance mums to do real dances that weren't Jam filled with tricks. Most of the most beautiful dances don't have any tricks at all.
There was a big chunk where she was literally just standing there. I think her emotion has improved but then again, when dancers get older they have an easier time with that. If she had beautiful emotion when she was 9 she would have been the total package. Now as a 16 year old dancer, she doesn't stand out much in the dance world anymore.
I am sure glad all these Chloe fans think they love her because their remarks are anything but love. Just let Chloe come back and make up her own mind how much she wants to impove. It hasn't been easy for her to come back but can we just except her for the great person and dancer she could have been if she had not been bullied into leaving Abby?

People saying she's regressed or whatever, I guess she isn't as flexible as she used to be, but evidently she isn't going to be as flexible or be as good as she was when she was 12 because she stopped dancing for a while and she's older now, so flexibility is always a difficult one to maintain once you've hit puberty. Besides, she came back to finish a season with her friends. I'm pretty sure after the show, she'll be going on to continue auditioning for films and TV shows, present a few shows, interview a few celebs and probably stop dancing anyway. So stop moaning people, and enjoy her dancing whilst you still can!
Hopefully Chloe pumps is back up to where she was ounce was since she's back doing solos , but it was great watching her do maybe she would start back being more focused and her flexibility will come back naturally and beautifully as before. ❤️🙂

Electria GT Chloe took a break to go and do opportunities so of course she's not at her strongest Chloe's best year in dance was 2015 it shows in her solos Almost Lover and Little Bird and also I haven't seen a full on Maddie solo since she left the show I've only seen brief jazz funk combos so we don't know how much Maddie has improved or regressed or if she stayed the same

Her combo’s show her progression, Chloe’s solo shows her regression. Just because she has not done a maddie solo since the show does not mean that her dancing could have regressed. She has been constantly sharing her combos and routines, all proving her immense progression, and she has been constantly still training and keeping up her dancing, and only training can equal improvement. NOT training/training just for fun equals regression. Chloe has not danced competitively for like 2 years and people still think she can be better than Maddie?

Y'all so extra. Chloe was NEVER flexible, even when she was the best dancer on the team as a 9 year old. She's much more focused on an acting career than a dance career, but maybe coming back to Dance Moms was an economic opportunity that she and her mom didn't want to pass up. Not to mention dancing with her friends again, I'm sure she missed that. Essentially, I think she's just doing Dance Moms for fun. None of the (ALDC) girls have competed in "real" dance competitions for at least 2 years.

Emma Gilmore 13 Reasons Why came out 2-ish months ago, and there has been a TON of hype about it for the past year. The book has a really large fan base and has since it was published in 2007. So if Cheryl Burke or whoever choreographed this dance was a fan, it'd make sense for this dance to be based on it
If I was going to be famous for my dancing I'd absolutely work on technique and flexibility. What the heck? Flexibility only takes 20 good minutes a day. Smh🤦♀️

I don’t care if her flexibility has decreased... I felt this shit... right in my little black heart lol I thought this solo was perfect and was literally everything chloe. I always thought other than Maddie that she danced with a lot of emotion...not just her faces but that she lets the emotion flow through her body. I absolutely LOATHE Christie and I know that’s an unpopular opinion... but I LOVE Chloe and just everything about this dance, the song and the lyrics seemed like they were written for chloe.... I don’t care about her technique... even though I thought she looked pretty damn good after not competitive dancing for awhile.. but I’m not a dancer so it’s just my outside perspective... but I love it ❤️

I see regression in Chloe, like her flexibility is lost. And even thought she has matured, there's something that still doesn't convince me. She does the moves and do them right, but they don't seem connected, is like she is just doing them. I didn't feel any emotion with this solo and hope she later gets choreography that's a challenge for her.
