The only way that I found out about the sale was through "dasbootblog" on Instagram otherwise there would have been no way I would've been able to get them. But I definitely feel you on that, it really sucks missing out on a big sale :(

I also got a pair of these boots during the barneyswharehouse sale but ended up selling them om poshmark a month later. I am 49 and tall/thin and they looked way to bulky on my body like I had cement blocks on my feet. If I was still in my 20s or 30s they would have been fine but not at 49 years old. I used the money and bought the black saint laurent jodhpur boots as a replacement becuase they dont have the huge block heel. The SL boots look better on me. 🙄✨ Although the calvin klein boots look Fantastic on a younger guy.
Yeah, sometimes it's like that. I have some shoes myself that I find hard to work outfits around without them looking super bulky and disproportional. But the Saint Laurent jodhpurs in black are really nice, I would even say they are more versatile than most of CK's boots ;)
Those are amazing! pretty cool, krazy shoe artists have similar Cuban heels like those.

I got them a size down 41EU (8US) from my regular size 42EU (9US), because it was the closest that they had in stock at the time. I would recommend sticking to your actual size on them, otherwise you'll have a longer break-in period and they'll fit quite tight ;)
A sz 41 is how you got them on sale when I found out these boots and other really stylish boots were on sale it's extremely rare that my size 13 or 12 depending on the brand is always gone

No, for Calvin Klein boots specifically I would stick true to size, their leather is super stiff so the fact that the brown pair is a full size down (from my tts) is going to be painful to break-in

what are tohse pants in the last fit?
they're from Dries, I am a little unsure which season they're from but I think they might be from Fall/Winter 17
How do they fit in comparison to the wyatts? I wear a 43 in the wyatts.
seung if the wyatts are plain leather and you do the half size down thing that’s usually recommended for the wyatts I’d say you should get 43.5 in the Calvin’s, but If 43 is your true to size I’d stick to that ;)

Only difference is really just that the break-in period is longer if you go half size down, and wearing thicker socks (like tennis socks) is a recipe for blisters!
How do the Calvins size compared to SLP?
Jack Jacobs I would recommend going with a true to size on the Calvin’s, they fit a little tighter than most of SLP’s boots (like the 40mm harnessed wyatt’s) and their leather is slightly stiffer than most regular leather SLP’s ✌️

I would recommend to go up to a US 9 since they sit very tight on foot, the walnut pair that I show in this video is a full size smaller than my true to size and they are really painful to break-in!
That is if you can't pick your true to size US 8.5 though.

I got it when I was vintage shopping in the shoreditch district in London, there are alot great pieces you can find there from time to time to be honest. If you’re ever in London I would highly recommend it👀
