I just ordered those same boots. I've always liked that style - even back in the 1960's (the Beatles wore something very similar). Will be fun to see whether I like them when they arrive.
@@daylindaniels4989 I haven't received them yet. They are due to arrive in the next five days. I know that they will look cool. I'm not sure how they'll fit since I wasn't able to try them on. I will try to remember to update you. Hey, we might all just start a fad!
@@Leo-hp7ub Just received them this afternoon! Yeh, uh, hmmmm. I do like them A LOT, but they weren't quite what I expected. I usually take a 10 1/2 and sometimes an 11, so I ordered size 11. They sent me size 10 - but oddly the boots fit fine. No pinching... not even with thick gym socks on. I knew that the boots were not very shiny, but they are even less shiny than I thought they'd be. Like the guy said in the video, you discover muscles in your calves you never knew you had - but that's okay. Just need to build up my calves a bit. I have no problem balancing in them, but it does change my gate a bit. They sort of make me walk in a sauntering cocky way. LOL! Hell, I think it's an improvement. Anyway, if I were you, I'd take my chances. The ASOS price isn't very high, the boots arrived on time, and they fit even though they weren't the right size. I can't wait until Covid is over and I can wear the out to a bar.
Some people refer to any heel above an inch as a "high heel". But I think 2-3'' is considered mid range. Alot of guys want to wear heels, but it seems like for now it's mostly gay men who openly embrace them. But I've read alot of comments on RUclips where straight men say they wear them or want to wear them. I think they are just afraid of the taboo. I recently became an advocate for heels for men. I even joined a Facebook group devoted to "Normalizing high heels for men".
Great comment. I can say I’ve seen proof that straight guys also want to wear high heels. I think from 2 to 3 inches mostly. I believe if they saw more straight guys taking the plunge they would as well. I once wore rugged boots with a thick sole and a 2 and a half heel . I noticed the guy working at the Radio Shake store admiring my boots but he never said anything. I noticed a few days later that he was wearing a brand new pair of boots with a similar style to mine with a tall heel. I’d like to believe he was influenced by what I wore and by the confidence I showed in wearing them.
Pilot Jones yes it does. I have a love/hate about it. Feels power but it’s obnoxious sometimes😂 Please consider subscribing. Trying to get to 300 subscribers and Im thisclose. Thanks Pilot Joooones
also, I loved the blazer you were wearing in this vid when you styled the boots! so chic! I've been looking for an oversized blazer to wear casually like that. where'd you get it from?
Hey! Thanks. I love oversized blazers too. This is from Zara from fall 2019 however theyve been making oversized blazers this season. Check them out really good fits for the price. Hope that helps!
I have these these are not that high of a heel I like them don’t see a problem with a guy wearing any heeled boots these are also comfortable but I do wish I got a size up to a 12
My husband shops woman plus size ones from Gabor, Piesanto and Aloha, it was a bit strange for me first, but he really throws in some good combinations and gets ones for me as well.
Hey thanks for stopping by! Okay so true to size is fine. It’s more that theyre narrow that’s the issue. They do carry them in a wide fit too though! Also just a reminder these are men’s sizing. Hope that helps. Consider supporting the channel and subscribing! I have another ASOS boot video coming out soon. Also I literally just bought one minutes ago.😂
Chantsy [Chantal Sarkisian] ohhhhhhh yeah I find theyre true to size for me. Yeah not a lot of content on the Asos Design shoe line here this is my highest viewed video. Im sorry I can’t speak on women’s sizing! I can say they have pretty forward thinking designs tho🙂 Anyway hope you do subscribe. I just subscribed to yours and wow you made it over 1k! You should be the one giving me tips Chanatal!
THEE Rogie ROG theyre true to size. However, asos design shoes are on the narrow side. They carry wide versions of some of their shoes though! Hope that helps! Consider liking and subscribing im close to 300 subscribers!
Elijah Mosley hey Elijah check out the comments section. Someone else asked this and I answered in detail. Get your regular size. It might fit narrow but they sometimes have a wide fit version available. Hope that helps and please consider subscribing. Ive been buying a lot of asos design shoes!
Hey thanks for stopping by. I would say not any more than any pointed toe? So if you’re not used to that might be uncomfortable. I found them narrow but they’re available in wide sizing. Also extra info, I just wore them out for the first time and ummmmmm, if you’ve never worn 3 inch heels, it is a big adjustment to. My feet felt warped and sore even the day after. Anyway sorry for the reply but hopefully you got the tea on this. Please consider subscribing! I have another ASOS boot video coming out and I literally just bought one😂.
'Vertically challenged' 😂love these boots! They look good on you! Keep doing your thing, you're amazing 💕 new sub x

I am so upset that that high heels is still taboo among other things. I known it’s not as bad as it used to be but it’s moving too slow imo.
Hi yes I bought the square toe Chelsea boot from ASOS with about a 3inch heel or so. It’s a hot & different look. Keep doing your thing.
Looks cool as fuck! I bought them after this video. Thank you!
Ah thanks. Hope you like them! Also subscribe bc I have a couple more asos design shoe videos coming🙂
Fact: High heeled shoes are originally made for men
You know the history 👌🏾

so true. I think most guys have a thing for heels, just afraid to try them

Pls tell me if these making the clacking sounds because that’s the only reason why I wear heels 😭

Hey yes im familiar with those 2000s darlings. Albeit too high for me though!
Btw there's alot of designer boots with heels
The beatles also wear that boots from 1962 to 1963
have you tried the women's boots from asos? a lot of them have great heels but they tend not to fit me (I wear 10/11 in men's/I'm a guy)
No I havent. I dont in women’s shoes unfortunately. Too narrow. Im a size 9 mens so it’s very close.

@@JRSPARTY Hey. Im trying to get an idea of how long the toe box part is if it is nice and long pointy or short pointy?. Are you a size 9 US or UK?
The boots looks great on your feet👌💯💪👍
Im tempted to buy this ones from Asos, are they comfortable and true to size?
What about the size? Do you have to take a size larger than your foot?
Oh Deary deary me ...😂🤣😂🤣
Whats the brand of the jeans you wear?😎
can you comment on the sizing? was it true to size?
