I’ve had my Corsair ironclaw since about 2019-2020 here are some problems I’ve had with it just in case anyone is looking at buying it 1. Thumb buttons too far back for comfortable or fast pace use 2. Creaking plastic everywhere if you grip it hard or press buttons 3 lots of nooks and crannies where dust and skin cells collect 4 poor durability of the rubber grip material on my mouse it has basically worn down to the plastic when I have had my thumb on it for years 5. Poor durability of the plastic top coat/top layer where my index finger has worn the plastic down to white after repeated use on a specific spot I always press 6. Resorted issues of double clicking due to dust/skin cell buildup on mouse buttons 7. Poor middle mouse button (it doesn’t feel very good to use) 8. Janky firmware when I used to use windows updating IQUE would cause the mouse not to be in the software causing me to have to reinstall it . Also do not expect to have this mouse working well with Linux as Corsair doesn’t have IQUE for Linux there are apps to change your RGB lighting but not your DPI because the mouse is an older one It has held up for many years and has done well as a mouse but I am definitely not going to buy it again
Just bough this today and confused on charging I just plugged it in to my computer and then the usb into the mouse and turned the switch to off but no lights or anything. Any help would be great
I am waiting for more mice to be like that Razer one which is wireless and comes with an included RGB mouse pad and has NO battery and uses the included mouse pad to allow power to get to the mouse but I don't want that mouse I want a wireless version of the CURRENT version of the Corsair M65 which has the sniper button right near to the forward and back (I don't use the sniper button for sniping I just use a lower DPI than the average guy when using my mouse and have the sniper button configured to do other stuff which is something I like as I like having more than 2 side buttons on a lighter weight mouse)
I just bought one but it is a disappoinment. It can not make macros for its onboard memory. actually its pc software icue can only record a few keyboard buttons as a macro for onboard memory. This is not macro! I can't imagine a macro setting without mouse events. If you can I have another bad news for you: If you want to use onboard memory on PS4 it is impossible. because the macro that contains keyboard buttons does not work in PS4! Shortly you can assume that THIS MOUSE LACKS OF ONBOARD MEMORY! And this makes it the same with a cheap mouse.
Hello guys I wonder if i can play with the cable connected because this mouse looks awesome and meets all my needs its just that its wireless...can this wireless or generally every wireless mouse be used as a wired one?
anyone looking to buy this expect your scroll wheel to last about a year and 2 months before it becomes very annoying to use to the point where its just about unusable

You've probably already chosen but IMHO it depends on your hand size. I have large hands and I bought the Ironclaw because it's literally the only mouse that even comes close to being comfortable. Really bad mouse. Sometimes the buttons work. Sometimes they write numbers. Sometimes they don't work at all. Feels bad in the hand because of the asymmetric shape, when it is actually a right handed mouse. Will give you an aching hand, unlike all other mice I've used in the past 20 years. My palm doesn't fit on this palm mouse ( height 5'8 ). The thumb buttons are too far back and so are the two index buttons. The blinking flashing lights are on by default. The lights are distracting and one is on the palm rest so you would never see it when it's in use. Two point directly at your monitor and make a lovely flashing reflection when you are trying to concentrate. Everyone loved that, right? You need to download bloatware just to turn them off. People that don't want the lights on, don't want the bloatware. People that want lights, usually like bloatware to play with the lights. Boycott Corsair for your next purchase. Show them that things need to change. These are just a few of the basic things that are proof Corsair must be totally brainless. I mean, come on guys. These are obvious basic faults. It's not even like it was a mistake. Corsair purposefully designed this mouse to be stupid. When a company puts money into purposefully being stupid, they are failing at the most basic level. ADVICE for Corsair. Take a lump of clay. Take an average height man ( 5'8 ). Ask him to press his hand into the lump of clay, like he is holding a mouse. Now you have a mould for the smallest sized hand of the largest mouse you make. From there, Mould a mouse that has a rear palm slider, made of aluminium, that will slide back, to increase size for larger hands. Move the thumb button as far forward as the thumb can reach and place one back from that. Now you have the two thumb buttons. the DPI buttons, repeat this same process, but put a gap/plate between the two DPI buttons and the left click button. raise the mouse wheel and make it out of solid plastic, crosshatched. Put both a thumb rest and a pinky finger rest on each side. Add right and left side grip to the aluminium sliding palm grip so that the palm actually grips the mouse when you place your hand on it and you are able to lift all fingers, and still maneuver the mouse without it going all over the place. The two buttons behind the mouse are almost pointless, but if you are going to have them, they must not interfere with the palm. If you can press these buttons with your palm, they are in the wrong place. Move them forward, closer to the mouse wheel. Move the mouse wheel forward also if you have to. Don't be afraid to get it right... or you will just get it wrong again and again. Don't ask kids to help you design it. Give it to an older man and woman that are experienced. Kids like flashing lights, and get big heads. Adults will tell you straight, your product is crap!
I use it for 2 months ...lightly...the wheel failed...not scrolling up and down anymore so now it's usless .... BIG waste of money...not touching any of this Corsair shit anymore...
I've bought this mouse twice. First time my scroll wheel snapped. I decided maybe this was a once off fault or design error and since I loved the button layout and look I bought another one. In even less time the exact same thing happened. This is a poorly made flimsy piece of trash. The whole thing cracks of cheap plastic if you squeeze it. Just get yourself a G502
I found this mouse to be entirely too big and bulky and unpleasant to use. I'll be sending it back to the store I got it from and replacing with a Logitech :(

Other than that, it's the best mouse I ever had and if it ever breaks/dies I will get the same one again for sure (if it's still sold by that time of course)
It seems my reply became sort of a mini review :-)
@@InekoBK exactly what I needed to know, thank you
So Ironclaw>g502 confirmed?
does it do the fast scrolling?
can you make a disassemble video of this mouse? my left button wont work
Is it plug and play with PS4? I am so pissed of after the wireless K63 keyboard....
If I have the USB wireless adapter installed, and plug a USB cable into the mouse for charging purposes, does the mouse switch to the wire for connectivity or does it continue using the wireless connection?
Of course you can still use the mouse in "wireless" mode w/ your PC and charge it with an micro USB at the same time
@@Ixemile So the only way to force the mouse to use a wired connection is to unplug the USB wireless adapter?

this mouse is killing my hand/wrist.. Came from the razer deathadder and never had problems with it. should i get the naga 2.0 or is there a more superior mouse out right now?
every corsair mouse i have has starts to double click when i single click after 3 mounths
how do i get the mouse to connect to icue?
hey guys , does this one has the infinite scroll , similar to G903?
Hey did you find out if the scrollwheel is tiltable?
Bought this mouse and my disappointment is immeasurable finding out I can only assign my gaming functions to the 3 buttons. Guess I’ll return this and go back to the harpoon wireless 😅
My harpoon dpi LEDs are not showing correctly and the mouse is being funny
I have wondering is it support any wireless chaging? like QI tech?
sometimes the rgb lightning gets off randomly.. someone know how i can fix it?
OlexeshXI u can use the software to alter the rgb, no probes with my mouse
Great video man but...13:12 for a video of a mouse is too long. Nonetheless great video
Someone can tell me what switches are in ironclaw wireless and wired?
Does it works fine if used on wooden table without mousepad?
How much time does it take to fully charge the mouse...?
I’ve had my Corsair ironclaw since about 2019-2020 here are some problems I’ve had with it just in case anyone is looking at buying it
1. Thumb buttons too far back for comfortable or fast pace use
2. Creaking plastic everywhere if you grip it hard or press buttons
3 lots of nooks and crannies where dust and skin cells collect
4 poor durability of the rubber grip material on my mouse it has basically worn down to the plastic when I have had my thumb on it for years
5. Poor durability of the plastic top coat/top layer where my index finger has worn the plastic down to white after repeated use on a specific spot I always press
6. Resorted issues of double clicking due to dust/skin cell buildup on mouse buttons
7. Poor middle mouse button (it doesn’t feel very good to use)
8. Janky firmware when I used to use windows updating IQUE would cause the mouse not to be in the software causing me to have to reinstall it . Also do not expect to have this mouse working well with Linux as Corsair doesn’t have IQUE for Linux there are apps to change your RGB lighting but not your DPI because the mouse is an older one
It has held up for many years and has done well as a mouse but I am definitely not going to buy it again
No holder for the 2.4/slipstream usb dongle?
That's what I was looking for as well
Just bough this today and confused on charging I just plugged it in to my computer and then the usb into the mouse and turned the switch to off but no lights or anything. Any help would be great
how do you charge it?
can you help me with deactivating/remapping the dpi up and down buttons? for some reason its not responding with icue?!

Do not buy!
Scroll wheel broke within a couple of months and it is a known problem.

It has a 2 year warranty tho... also I have no idea how you can break a scroll wheel, do you click it that much?

The wire of this mouse is pretty loose on mine, it disconnects every times i move my mouse too hard, any1 with the same problem ?
i had with other device with that type of cable - try cleaning it using a needle - you will be surprised how much dust and dirt is there
I am waiting for more mice to be like that Razer one which is wireless and comes with an included RGB mouse pad and has NO battery and uses the included mouse pad to allow power to get to the mouse but I don't want that mouse I want a wireless version of the CURRENT version of the Corsair M65 which has the sniper button right near to the forward and back (I don't use the sniper button for sniping I just use a lower DPI than the average guy when using my mouse and have the sniper button configured to do other stuff which is something I like as I like having more than 2 side buttons on a lighter weight mouse)
What Razer Mouse is that
Razer Mamba Wireless
16 hours battery with lights on? Geez, might as well just leave the cord in if I'm going to have to charge it almost every day.
If you play almost 16 hours a day, you've got bigger problems on your hands.

@@robertlefeaux The mouse goes to sleep after inactive for a set period of time to save battery.
can it charge wirelessly?
Can i use any micro usb cable for the mouse?
I just bought one but it is a disappoinment. It can not make macros for its onboard memory. actually its pc software icue can only record a few keyboard buttons as a macro for onboard memory. This is not macro! I can't imagine a macro setting without mouse events. If you can I have another bad news for you: If you want to use onboard memory on PS4 it is impossible. because the macro that contains keyboard buttons does not work in PS4! Shortly you can assume that THIS MOUSE LACKS OF ONBOARD MEMORY! And this makes it the same with a cheap mouse.
Hello guys
I wonder if i can play with the cable connected because this mouse looks awesome and meets all my needs its just that its wireless...can this wireless or generally every wireless mouse be used as a wired one?
Ανδρέας Δρούλιας you can use as wired with the provided cable.
anyone looking to buy this expect your scroll wheel to last about a year and 2 months before it becomes very annoying to use to the point where its just about unusable
Anybody know how to connect to a ps4 trynna play mc and it won’t work
Nvm had to plug it in before the keyboard
Your Ironclaw wireless works in ps4?
@@raypoles855 does your ironclaw wireless works with ps4 in MW?
I loved mine till it stopped working, it won't move no matter what, buttons work but it doesn't move now, I uninstalled Icue, reinstalled it, flashed the drivers, reflashed the drivers, and it still doesn't move, so I'm taking it back to best buys and getting another one.
watch with corsair ironclaw wieless
Does this work for ps4?
This or Razer Deathadder?
You've probably already chosen but IMHO it depends on your hand size.
I have large hands and I bought the Ironclaw because it's literally the only mouse that even comes close to being comfortable.
I've owned Deathadders in the past and found them to be very short lived but I haven't had my Ironclaw long enough to compare.

I'm having a problem with mine, the left click is getting soft.
I don't know if it's because the button is failing or if maybe I reassembled it wrong when I swapped to a paracord cable.
Otherwise the mouse is still great, I still really enjoy the shape and size.
Buy the extended warranty if your retailer offers it, it was $4 extra at the store I went to but I knew I was going to modify mine so I passed on it.

GREAT!
I'll always subscribe to a car and computer guy

Carnies.... smells like cabbage
beware of the shit scroll wheel snapping , unable to scroll pages due to it snapping
130 grams?? yikes... thats way too heavy
nah its perfect ngl
I use it for 2 months ...lightly...the wheel failed...not scrolling up and down anymore so now it's usless .... BIG waste of money...not touching any of this Corsair shit anymore...
................sooooo why doesn't he touch on the subject of Macros? Lol
The G502 was almost perfect but that Sniper button just kills the whole mouse for me.
This looks like my dying G700s the buttons on the left click
Yep, same here, left click double clicks just like G700...Logitech quality...
