Yet for me I enjoy their Tapes, Move, Vox videos the best.
Not to mention XG Days, Xtra XG, and Xtra Xtra series.
All their music is different. They can basically do any genre. Girl Gang, New Dance and TGIF are further evidence of that.

Believe us when we say that XG NEVER MISS!! As in all of their releases so far are all bangers, not kidding.
Shooting Star and Left Right are more practical effects and less CGI then you would think.
They are so good. I'm a little Jurin biased here but they all are excellent. I have 5 GG I stan and these girls are one of those groups along with all things LOONA ( the results of the explosion), Billlie, Stayc and the top of the top, my forever ults Dreamcatcher. But coming back to XG, you need to watch the XG Mixtapes. You will love the rapper line is to notch and the vocal line, amazing to. Also they are magnificent dancers. If you ever want to match members names to faces, I'd recommend watching their "MOVE" videos on their channel rather than using a guide or kprofiles. MOVE #1 is how the group was introduced and shows off their group choreo. MOVE #2 is seven individual dance videos that showcase each member's skills and vibe. MOVE #3 is the same song and dance as MOVE #1, but in a different setting and I think it's really cool to watch after the individual videos. MOVE #4 is after their debut so it's a cool way to see their progression.
All that being said, there's no way to miss with this group. You can watch anything they've made and be blown away, so really just have fun.

The whole XG X-Gene album is unique. Drill done the right way? From a girl group? Yeah...this is the evolved genre known as XPop. XG is the beginning and will be known as one of the founders of XPop.
Isn't it nice to see young, beautiful girls not being sexualized? That's why the MVs hit different cause they flirt but never sexualized from their choreo to gear to the smiles...all of it clean which forces you to perceive the MV differently without even knowing it.

Shooting Star is definitely one of those songs that will attack you because of the hard hitting beats & the switch up to that beautiful chorus and pre-chorus.
Left Right was a throwback to golden age of the 90's and early 2000 where R&B is king.
That's why older ALPHAZ like me was so into XG because of their love and appreciation with the genre.
Both of these songs put XG on the map, and established their status as a powerhouse that they are.
Please check out XG TAPES 1&2, XG MOVE and XG VOX too. And you'll see how ELITE XG is. They are a cut above the rest.

You mentioned how different the songs sound, and that's intentional. In one of their intros of their first mini-album, one of the lyrics is literally "beta testing". With how dynamic these girls are, they can do almost any genre and make each song sound so different from the others while still keeping that XG feel

No matter how many times I watch Shooting Star I always get chills when they sing the chorus. It's not a really old song but it just feels so nostalgic and epic. Their performance and charisma just puts a smile on my face, especially the live shows.

How the 17 year old Japanese girl (I know she's 18 now) looks like she could take the clothing of a 90s hip hop dancer from the streets of NY and everyone around would just be like...it's hers now... she wears it better. Coco like embodies hip-hop when she is on stage there is no hip hop style it's just HER. Like the way she wears the bucket hat is like no no this was meant for my head everyone else just puts it on. So proud of my nieces. Yes, I feel like a proud auntie watching them. I haven’t been this excited about a group since Red Velvet and Mamamoo and I couldn’t pinpoint why until recently. XG’s small yet mighty discography is soooo good (how I feel about RV’s discography) and their tight bond, infectious energy, and genuine love of performing reminds me of MMM’s charisma. These young ladies seriously have it all! I have been gobbling up their content and I recommend you do so as well. :)
