You been missing out on the flyest crew out there XG. Glad u finally found them. "Left Right" was ranked the #77 song of 2023 by Rolling Stone. Even R&B legend Ciara & Jackson Wang jumped on the official remix for it. XG was also just featured on the cover of Billboard Magazine in OCT. You 100% need to watch XG's legendary cypher that went viral globally "XG TAPE #2 GALZ XYPHER" you gonna be mind blown. XG's rapline can spit like some real G's. I'm old skool & I havent come across a group with as much raw talent & charisma as XG in a VERY long time. They never miss. XG = Elite rapline, elite vocals & elite dancers/dance crew

The one with the high notes in the middle, orange hair, is Maya. And ... erm ... actually she is one of the main rappers in the group ^^.
So, here a bit of an executive summary for you and your subscribers ...
XG is short for Xtraordinary Girls, their label is XGALX, which was more or less specifically created for them. Their debut was March 2022, so they are still fairly new. They are seven Japanese, age 18 to 21 as of now, who are based in South Korea and trained with the KPop idol methods ... to then perform NOT K-Pop, but instead mostly western style 90s/early 2000s rap and R&B oriented tracks. *Modern Old School*, if this makes sense - a quite unique concept. Their main songs are all completely in English. They also venture into 90s/y2k pop and club sounds, and their rapline and vocalists also have separate series showcasing them specifically, XG Tape and XG Vox respectively. Officially there are 4 rappers (Jurin, Cocona, Maya, Harvey) and 3 vocalists (Chisa, Juria, Hinata), but the rappers all can sing as well. XG is quite versatile and covers a large spectrum of genres, but it is all rooted in 90s/y2k style. No two songs sound alike.
Recommended watching:
Winter Without You (original R&B X-mas song ... do the live vocals version on The First Take, it's even better than the studio verson/MV). This is a MUST WATCH.
Shooting Star (sort of their signature song, also the first one on The First Take in addition to the MV)
XG Tape #2 as introduction to the rappers. Also MUST WATCH.
XG Vox #5 as introduction to the vocalists
Hesonoo & X-Gene (performance video of the two short intro tracks from their first mini album New DNA). MUST WATCH again.
GRL GVNG (aka Girl Gang, first track from New DNA, featuring cyberpunk mermaids and clone armies)
TGIF (second New DNA track ... club sounds with surrealistic music video)
New Dance (also from New DNA, more of a relaxed summer vibe)

You rly need to check out their other huge hit "Shooting Star" & their viral cypher that blew up "XG Tape #2 Galz Xypher" Also their new song "Winter Without You" a late 90s/early 2000s R&B throwback it is so good its vocal heaven. XG grew up listening to & idolizing old skool R&B/HipHop artists like Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill, TLC, etc

Can't go wrong with any of their singles. If you want to see showcases of the rappers or vocalists, you'll have to look for the "XG Tape (rappers)" and "XG Vox (vocalist)" videos. All their singles are straight english, but those side video mix japanese, korean and english. Also, I think you'd like Kard. More of an 'adult' K-pop group with 2 guys and 2 girls. I suggest the song Icky.

Okay so if you lovin the vocals, you will loooovvve winter without you. That is the last single they just released recently. XG is a whole other level of talent and amazing at everything. Also recommend their rap line tapes and vocals vox tapes. Everything they release is fire and you won’t be disappointed. 7 Japanese members, trained in Korea and Japan. Songs are all in English and they're considered a "Global Group" not kpop or jpop, though they promote in Korea any time they release new music. They've also already had a US tour as well. They've gone viral on several occasions. You should check out their "Move 2" series, where individual members showcase their dance. Cocona is my personal favorite since debut, but all 7 members are top tier and are insanely talented.

-XG = X-GALAXY = XGALZ = 7 members (Jurin, Maya, Hinata, Juria, Harvey, Cocona, and Chisa)
-Concept: They are aliens from planet X...they have a bit of a Y2K vibe/style going on with their concept.
-NOT KPOP...ish...lol They are actually an all Japanese girl group, under the kpop training system who also trained in America, a lot of their songs were written in Atlanta under some of the top producers..but marketed as a GLOBAL group.
-Technically the group consist of 3 vocalist and 4 rappers but they can ALL sing and rap. The member you liked is MAYA and she's considered a rapper but she's an amazing vocalist and dancer so I would say your favorite is definitely the ALL rounder of the group but technically....they all are Aces. It's hard to pick a favorite. It changes with every song. They all take turns killing the fans. Lol
Genre: Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B....fans call their genre of music X-POP. Their mixtapes are sooooo fire and they were extremely popular on social media ESPECIALLY Cocona (rapper) when she popped off on Mixtape 2 on the XGALZ XypherZ. But honestly Cocona and all the rappers be popping off. They are all amazing and the vocalists are out of this world great (pun not intended but they really all are out of this world...lol).
-Jurin is the girl that started this song...she's considered one of the rappers and the leader of the group. She's so fire (they all are tbh).
-All their title tracks are in ENGLISH but their Mixtapes are in English, Japanese, and Korean...they jump in and out of all 3 languages and you won't even know what slapped you in those mixtapes.. lmao
-They sound just as amazing and sometimes even better LIVE! This group is in their own whole lane of super amazing talent and music that's addicting and super catchy. They also add sign language in their choreo. When I say they are global I mean global. They include everyone.
-Honestly check everything out. EVERYTHING this group has put out is too good to pass up. But if you wanna do it in order then...

To learn the names, check out Tape #2 the Galz Xypher as many have said, it’ll introduce you to the rap line. Then do Vox #5 the XGlee club for the vocal line. However, they are all vocalists honestly. When you do get to GRL GVNG, makes sure you do the music video for the visual experience but the the dance practice or ASL video for the full song.

They're technically not Kpop, they're xpop. They don't cater to the Kpop scene but did train in the Kpop system. They want to have more of a global audience hence why they're xpop
