- With a little extra time on my hands during the lockdown I was looking for a project that would not only keep me busy...but, give me something to do afterwards as well. It's been 30+ years since I played with a Hacky Sack...but, I do remember it being something fun. I'm really enjoying this thing!

Nice little project! I remember when that became popular years ago! 👍
Me too! I am 50 now...and I got my first Hacky Sack when I was a kid...there was a group of us at school that would stand in a circle and play...seems like ages ago. Bet I haven't done this for 35 years.

Fun project, I remember these back in school!... nice hacky sack skills 😁🙌🏻
Thank you, Kirstie...it's been a fun distraction.
Pretty cool!
Thank you, Dimitris!
Man that brought back some memories from highschool! Nice job!
Thanks! That’s about the last time I tried it as well 😂
Good job Stan!
Thanks, Grant!
Great idea and great video. that is a really good idea for a project and for something to do during lockdown. I have to search for material to make something like this. Then see if Mrs Poor Man will join in the hacky sack practice in the garage! :-)
I think that's a great idea, Richard! I hope you do make one...it's fun!
These used to be so popular when I was in grade school. This video takes me back to my childhood (in a good way 😉)!
I'm right there with you!
Lol , You’re pretty good at that Stan I don’t think I could ever come close to keeping it in the air that long,, Cool project 👍🦅🇺🇸
Thanks, Rock...you know the older I get the better I WAS LOL!
Loving your humility 💯 willing to accept tips God bless you
Thanks!
Cool
Thank you!
Nice project Stan 😊 I used to play this in the 70's and 80's I might give it another try 😊 ॐ
Thanks! Definitely give it a shot...this is fun and I think your boy would like it too!
Hello my friend.
a very interesting project. I saw it for the first time. I sincerely congratulate you. Thank you for sharing.
Greetings.
Thank you, my friend...this is a toy from a long time in my past...good memories in this project.
@@StanCrafted Congratulations again. You revived the memories. See you. healthy days.
Bringing back the hacky sack! Nice tutorial!
Thanks! Yeah...let's bring it back...pretty fun!
I cant sew for shit so good job. Sounds very peaceful where you live
Clearly, I don't sew well either :-) I do like in a pretty peaceful place...the wind chimes in the background were from one of my builds last summer...when my daughter watched this video before I posted it she said don't do music because she liked the sound of them...
A perfect stay home project! Great idea!
Perfect because we don't need hacky sack to make a comeback! lol
That's exactly what I was thinking, Brent!
@@TheGrantAlexander LOL!
Hi Stan, What a great fun project. You are far better at the game than I would be. My knees don't bend like yours anymore. LOL Cheers, Huw
Thank you, Huw...My skills aren't much anymore...had a laugh with my daughter today when we realized that this a good workout for me only because I have to bend over to pick the darn thing up so much.
That's terrific! I don't remember having seen one of those before, but it looks like fun. That sort of thing is done with a soccer ball here and is called 'keepie uppie' in some places. I can't do it, I'm too geeky...
Thank you, Mark...it really is fun...haven't done this for ages...turns out I'm a bit geeky myself...not nearly as good as I used to be!
Now that is awesome my man!🤙🏻
Thanks!
Nice little project, and you are good at this hack sack. Grew up in England and we didn’t have this but did the same with a soccer ball.
Also great choice for the rice, although I prefer white Mahatma ...lol
Thank you, Harki...I'm actually going to practice this a little bit everyday for exercise...it's fun...I used to be bit better...but, that was 35 years ago! Next time I'll use white rice!
StanCrafted yeah I think it’s all in the rice
To clean the stitching up try using a saddle stitch... Not bad though
Thank you...I will try that on the next one!
ah I discovered what's the name of this ball. I saw once in Big Bang Theory! nice technique man. what is your best score?
Thank you, Alberto...with this Hacky Sack my best score is 12...when I was a kid I could keep the bag in the air quite a while...
AH! I used to love playing with a hacky sack. I'm pretty sure my first one (grey with pink Grateful Dead Jerry Bears) is still around here somewhere...
They are a lot of fun...I'm no where near as good as I was as a kid...but it's still a kick!
