My favorite moment in the entire series is and always will be when Mateo drinks to having eaten human flesh. The way he delivers the line and the expression on his face gets me every time even after years of watching the series.

Is there any theory or discussion about why Mateo didn't end up with Jeff? Maybe Jeff Actor left shows? What Jeff did for the company break Mateo's heart or what? Tell me, please. I can't get any information or discussion.
They had a secret relationship, then mateo ended up blurting it out that he's with Jeff because Sandra kept pretending. They couldn't be together because he's a boss and its against company rules. They tried to work round it and suggested mateo get a transfer, mateo tried and then realised he needed his visa or whatever but he's an illegal immigrant so didn't have one. Obviously couldn't tell Jeff, nearly did but instead said they were breaking up out of panic so they split up and it was too messy for them to get back together. Mateo ends up with someone else though
When Mateo told Jeff he is undocumented and miss the time they spent together. I am touched and with hope that they can get back together. But Jeff still shows up in the show and Mateo dates Amy's brother. I though they can't get over the thing that Jeff choose the company / career at the fight between employees and coperate.
They got back together after the tornado but broke up again because Jeff sold out to corporate instead of exposing them for ageism towards Myrtle Beach (The episode where Jonah and Amy do the deed on camera lol). Understandably so, mateo didn’t like Jeff after that
They're saying pixar is basically top of the range while dreamworks makes uglier characters, putting the character in the microwave would make it uglier
