Bonjour Diane, I have spent the afternoon watching your videos. I only needed to know how to draft my own skirt sloper, but I just kept watching one after another. I have been sewing for over 50 years but you have taught me so much this afternoon. You're never too old to learn something new. Your videos are so explanatory and easy to watch and I just wanted to say a big thank you. I really wish RUclips had been invented in the 1950's. I would have saved myself a fortune in all the fabric I've wasted with my mistakes!!! Thank you again. Keep them coming. Keep safe.
I adore the way you teach!!! I am doing every lesson... with examples so i may remember the techniques. Please continue there are many of us that really need the professional way of sewing ,and this is it!
This is by far the best explanation I have seen and this was released in 2014. I have watched over a dozen videos and this takes the cake. Thanks so much for this.
This is such a good tutorial. I’ve watched hundreds and there are VERY few people talking about these techniques. Some very professional bag makers never talk about the fact that once you open the zipper & look inside the pocket if you haven’t used the same color thread as the zipper tape you can see the stitching which is unpleasant to look at. These techniques overcome that.
Thank you so much for this brilliant video! I searched the internet for a good video on how to sew a zipper pocket, have watched many of them but this video is the best! It is comprehensive, easy to follow and it covers not one but five different sorts of zipper pockets!. After carefully following Diane’s instructions, I ‘ve sewed my first beautiful zipper pocket after the first attempt. 😍
Thank you so much for sharing these techniques! Can't wait to practice and perfect, I tried a welt pocket and it was OK but not quite right , but feel now that next time I can do a much better job . Fantastic ☺
I must say, some of the best tutorials on zipper pockets I have ever seen. Thank you
