I think Johnny Depp came over as honest and sincere and hesitant and a deep thinker. I didn't get any sense of the consumate actor I know him to be. I think we saw a wounded man who'd finally had enough and was willing to expose his own warts to get fairness and justice. I was incredibly impressed by his commitment to truth.

My husband was a juror on 2 high profile cases, and I didn't know one thing about it until years later when he got called for jury duty. He told me he already did his duty two times; so when he had to go for jury selction he gave an answer he knew the perp's attorney would have him excused. My husband said it's someone else's turn because he did his civic duty twice. Back then we didn't have "social media" but we had phones, tv, radio, news papers, gossip, family, & friends and yet he NEVER said one word to me about any court cases. I believe people take being a juror VERY seriously, any way my husband did. I think Amber is a psychosociopath, and a VERY dangerous individual; perhaps another Jodi Arias. I never heard of her before this trial, and hope not to hear about her again. She does NOT speak for me or anyone I know who was/is a victim of DMV. She is vile. Pray for her little girl because the first time she say's NO! to "Mommy Dearest" heaven help her.
I agree, I was a juror on a high profile Federal fraud case and I didn't talk to ANYONE about any part of the case. Some people don't understand that the jury cannot talk to each other, either, not until deliberation. We all took our vows very seriously.
I was a juror in a local case. It was a big trial to us locally. But no national coverage. I took my job very seriously and so did the other jurors.
No juror wants to be the one to cause a mistrial. They are taking time out of their lives, most are losing time from work. It's insulting to suggest they would risk mistrial to scroll twitter. Of course amber would insult them. She thinks she's an a list star and they're peons.
The only time during the trial I saw real emotion on her was when she talked about the harassment she is getting from social media. She isn’t traumatized by the abuse she “suffered”. Her ego can’t handle the support Johnny is getting. If the jury was that star struck as she claims them to be, there would have been no way she won on the one count of defamation. The jury was fair and did their job.
Amber only has one playbook: deception.

I started believing Amber Heard's allegations. But when I watched the trial, I went back to supporting JD. Basically, Amber Heard herself made the public believe Johnny. None of his supporters is paid. I know many who never liked Johnny for his movies, are now supporting him.

I find it ridiculous to think that a jury member would find Amber believable but then see 3 dozen Depp fans outside the courthouse and say …”You know I’m going to have to disregard what I feel is evidence of her abuse now that I see these fans dressed as Jack Sparrow!”

I noticed throughout this Q and A, not once did she mentioned that she was abused, and she definitely does not act like a woman who is in fear of her ex-husband. That alone shows how much she is full of it.
I do think she’s full of it but I’m not sure what you would expect to see in terms of fear at this point. If I was talking about my past abusive experiences this many years later I would not be obviously afraid either.

AH overlooks the fact that there was nothing to stop her supporters attending Court - where were they🤔
I can't remember what trial day it was, but Law&Crime Network had a roving camera outside before each day. Once a group of three(?) people came in with a megaphone (bc if you only have three people, what impact can you make?). And they were standing behind the crowd yelling, "Yay Amber Heard." or something to that effect. Everyone else in the crowd was quiet. After about five minutes of so, the main loudspeaker lady got tired, stopped shouting and the group gathered up their posters and left even before JD or AH arrived. What they were trying to achieve is baffling to me.
Maybe if someone was watching the crowd from the front/street side, they might have been fooled into thinking that the "Yay AH" was coming from the entire crowd of people there, and not just the three people mingling in the back. (shrug).

Amber’s attack on the jurors is from a place which shows her own skewed view on life. She has no moral compass, no accountability or understanding of acceptable morality. Another thing person pointed out to me. In court she said that she never stated herself as a victim nor has she ever seen herself as one. But in this interview she said I know "I'm not the perfect victim". There's just so many conflicting statements in this interview.

I don't believe " Today " are siding with Amber at all . Allowing Amber to speak is good to show us who she really is . We've seen it through court , now we see the real Miss Heard outside of court . The more we hear from Miss Heard the more Dr Curry is being proved right and that's comforting . We become more convinced Miss Heard cannot be taken seriously. I find that comforting because the thought of not believing a victim is unbearable . I don't feel bad about not believing her at all any more . I do feel heartbroken for Mr Depp . Had this not been on TV it would only be those 7 jurors to blame and she could then say oh the media is out to get me. It would have been very different if we all hadn't watched this trial. I’ve watched five different analysis of this interview and Two points if I may:
1. The crowds may have been intrusive and there may be some barriers put up within a quarter mile or so, but how far is this barrier supposed to go? Is the public not allowed to voice their opinion in the city at all?
2. Her point of saying “Jack Sparrow” fans everywhere is a pointed denigration of Johnny Depp. Saying that everyone is supporting his portrayed character and not the man Johnny Depp himself. It was a deliberate slight.
Someone else discussed that there were a lot of police around keeping things in order. Hardly likely that they would have permitted anybody expressing a threat to her without getting in trouble. Further, between official media and just regular folks with their phone cameras, anyone holding such a sign, would have got their picture taken and immediately gone viral on social media. While it is difficult to prove a negative, I think in this instance, it is likely that her claims that people were holding threatening signs is completely bogus.
I think her social media argument and the crowd are made null and void by the fact that her defense 1) put up an expert that introduced hashtags with 90% of them being pro JD 2) Told the jury twice to look her up and they’ll see what the representation is online 3) Told the jury in her rebuttal testimony that people were making fun of her testimony on social media and wanted to microwave her baby. Her own defense brought the public perception into the trial.

Agree! Having served as a juror in one criminal case, I would say jurors took their duty very seriously. And honestly, after hearing about the case day after day, the last thing jurors want to do is to hear about the same case in their free time, both on and off line. Jurors would actively avoid those information. It's just too much information.

She speaks in extremes, “removed from her own humanity”, “less than human”. She and her attorney have ignored an important point. We watched the testimony, (with her never shedding a tear, by the way)listened to the audio, looked at the pictures. We came to a conclusion different from the one they wanted and expected. So she belittles, “Captain Jack Sparrow fans”, we are stupid enough to believe that having “scissors for hands” in a movie is so realistically portrayed that we somehow believe it? I think she was referring to Johnny acting in court, but she also belittled his fans.

The Judge Penny Azacarte was excellent and unlike the Actors in the court room the Judge was a former Marine She served in the Gulf in 1991. so that isn't acting that is way way above acting. The Judge is a different class and should be treated with the utmost respect.

You can't make a logical analysis about statements made by someone with BDP. They are living in their own alternate reality.
One of the best, most astute, comments I've seen. Although I find her behavior and mannerisms deplorable (partly because I've dealt with a sister like this, who I have no contact with), it's sad that she's being allowed to be out talking about it, with her mental illness causing anosognosia. She is blind to her own blindness (I mean, we all are to some degree...but with some mental disorders, it's epic), and believes what she's saying, at least for the most part. Creating facts to match feelings is what happens with BPD. It's not the same rule book as the majority.
