I think this was the only time in the entire franchise that I was disappointed that the battle wasn’t made longer and more difficult. They nailed everything else from the setting and stage to the symbolism of the weapons used and this phenomenally heart-wrenching score, but fell short with the overall pacing of the fight. If it would have resembled Lingering Will’s from the standpoint of endurance and a diverse move-pool, this fight would have definitely upstaged most of the encounters in the series. That said, it was still one of the biggest highlights of the game and this theme made it possible. Outstanding job on the cover.
I don't see what was perfect about this nonsensical scenario (that objectively breaks the narrative of the story and characters in a dozen different ways). But personal opinion aside: What exactly are you referring to by "symbolism of the weapons used"?
Personally, I kinda wish that Sora actually used Eraqus's keyblade during the actual Aqua fight as another part of weapon symbolism...but given the mechanics of KH3, I knew it wasn't going to happen.

All I have left in my heart is misery and despair. And now, you can share it!" > Honestly would've loved for Riku to hit her with a "...Shut up." here.

Like, for instance, the idea that Mickey "abandoned" her in the Realm of Darkness for a decade when he didn't even know she was in there till AFTER ten years had already passed (not to mention that SHE chose to exile herself there in order to save Terra, and no one else had any bearing on that choice whatsoever). Or how about the fact that she says she ended up at the Dark Margin after "endless wandering", and she was "all alone" there, despite the painfully obvious fact that she was WITH ANSEM THE WISE the entire time. Yet makes no mention of him. She said at the end of 0.2: "I'm not afraid. I will face the long darkness." Ansem told her in Blank Points that Sora would come for her soon (that was the entire narrative purpose of that scene). In KH3, she said "I'm staying someone will come for me" with a smile one her face. NONE OF THIS translates into anything that Anti-Aqua said, half of which was either lies, or gross hyperbole.

It'd certainly explain how Ansem is absent and isn't brought up by her, and how her view of what actually happened has become skewed. It could be she actually believes what she's saying.
I just beat Kingdom hearts 3 for the first time the other week, after starting the serise back in December. Aqua is one of my favourite characters in the series, and hearing her dark theme in 3 almost broke my heart. Somehow, you managed to make a cover even MORE heartwrencing, and I can only appluede you for that 👏♥️
I started losing it at 2:54 then I heard the part starting at 3:38... Incredible. Just incredible. My heart won't recover. I've never been that deeply touched by a cover. Thank you so, so much.
Absolutely amazing, I hope there will be many more KH remixes by you. I recently got an idea because data real org has customized versions of 13th Struggle and 13th Dilemma perhaps it would be cool to see versions for the original org XIII too. A Vexen, Zexion, Lexeaus, Axel version of Struggle and a Demyx & Xaldin version of Dilemma. Not sure if you like the idea, just dropping it in comment form. Keep up the awesome mixes 🏆

never played da game and judging from wat i've seen, needed more rage, anger, sorrow, anguish and a fight that's more barbaric and savage befitting of one that was abandoned in da darkness. hell, a bit more of gutteral guitar would help wit da sorrowful/savageness needed for this track. good track nonetheless though.

This was a really good cover, however, I'm unsure as to why, along with Lord of the Castle and The Other Promise, these latest covers feel lacking. I really liked what you did with Darkness of the Unknown and Vector to the Heavens because it felt you put some more of you into it but these feel like more versions of the same music pieces. I unfortunately find this unsatisfying and hope to hear more epic remixes, rather than simple epic covers, from you in the future 🙏
I totally understand ur point and i do agree u with this! For me it really depends of the song itself on how much i can put my creativity in use, The Other Promise was really hard for me to actually create something new to it, however my NEW orchestra set up is almost ready so i have more options on using orchestral instruments and i'm grateful u told me ur opinion and on the next cover i try to be more creative :) I think Darkness of the Unknown has the most creativity used compared to other covers i made.

Honestly, I kinda see her secret boss fight in 0.2 as a Data Battle in a way!
