I had to pause so I could pull out I few supplies to craft along. I try to do some creative everyday and this is a great way to do it and use scraps as well. My favorite background material is brown pattern tissue
I so appreciate the real life in these videos. Highly edited videos can be great too but I love just watching Pam work and listening as she thinks out loud. Seeing that real process is very inspiring to me!
Ohhhh... I HATE trying to get stickers loose and this is stressful to watch!😐 I have better luck raking a pair of tweezers across the edge. It seems to lift a little easier. And then I just use the tweezers to grab the lifted edge and place the sticker where I want it.
Nope... it’s not just you Pam. Since finding your RUclips channel I’m looking at everyday things in a whole new light! I also did what u suggested in another video and raided my “kids room” craft stuff I have for them when my nieces come to visit. I decided to reclaim the index cards I thought I’d never use! Lol
Pam my dear i just love u plain n simple 😆 u just crack me up all the time.. " i was making up a story that wasn't even true." 😆.. Ur so down to earth and i love it. Don't ever change...
I love these! I’m glad I’m not the only one that saves the small pieces and I have a ton of index cards. I save the really skinny pieces for flower stems. This was a fun video. 🦋
Lovely Pam. My only issue is remembering the tips you gave us in the video!!! Senior moment I guess. I'll have to try to remember to come back and watch it for the stuff I wanted to write down. LOL 🤣 hugs to Holly & the Love Birds too!🍂🤗🦋🥰🐝😘🐞
Scotch Create glue sticks have become my favorite because of you. Yesterday, in Joanns, I found three of them in the clearance section for a dollar each! Shoulda seen me rummaging in that bin searching for more with reckless abandon!! And any day with index cards is a good day! Thanks for introducing me to so many amazing projects and products you junk journal guru you! 🌸💯😍🤓🌸
This is my second time watching this...love the reminder of watching more than once. Have to say you shouldn't worry about talking to yourself...I do it all the time. Especially when I want an intelligent conversation or an audience that hangs on my every word 😯. And don't get me started about telling myself jokes! Lordy I just crack me up. Sometimes I keep giggling about my jokes off and on all day long. So relax with talking to yourself and just enjoy your own company. 😁😝😂
Its delightful to watch you create! You are so much fun and so is your crafting. I love hearing Hawley and your lovebirds. It's a lovely morning wake up call.
Love this - five minutes in I was running to my craft room and pulling out my box of strips (that I never know what to do with) and my index cards! Pam you are so creative! Thanks for the idea and for starting my day off with a smile 😊💜🌼
You are not alone! I love paper & glue & stickers & scissors etc. & paper crafting. I love the smell & feel of paper. Thank you for teaching me cool stuff.
I’ve been working from home since April and answer phone calls by the thousands. I can cut and glue on a relaxing project like this while I answer phones, so thanks for the inspiration.
Love it, Pam. As far as ephemera goes, I don't think there's such a thing as enough...lol..in my world , theres never enough when we are constantly making journals. I love pockets and hide aways filled with mystery's, to me... It's not complete without them.lol💕❤️
Hey Pam, will you ever let us see what Holly looks like? I can't be the only one who would love to at least see a picture of him. I was trying to imagine what he looks like dancing. 😆😆 Love your ideas!! And him singing in the background. Proud owner of three doggies, two kitties, and a gaggle of feral farm kitties on the back porch. Animal lovers and paper lovers unite!!😉💙 Tfs all these great things with us!!!
You r so creative....I can't stop saying that ''you are the real artist".....I am not able to take my eye from ur dainty creations... really appreciate your works....😍😍🥰🥰
Such fun, and I really do depend on my stash to do the journals, all for me, 1 a month, day by day. I have a 6" thick old dictionary, the words! I got a free, fun 1901 Farmer's Manual, the pictures! Lots more, it's piling up! I have to apologize to visitors, it's my work space, the dining table. Small house, close to the printer, etc. I cope, thanks for all the great ideas!
Karen Bauer You sound like who I'd choose to be a friend to visit.....to walk in for a cup of coffee and see all that you're creating laid out as if I interrupted you in the middle of it. You'd never feel the need to apologize to me, I would think your home was cozy and welcoming!! ❤️
@@karencvick Thanks, I have such a pile now and luckily my hubby doesn't complain. We're stuck here so I am taking advantage of it and playing when I can. I listen to audio books and craft and sew.
Karen Bauer I lost my husband unexpectedly 5 years ago, he set up my very first crafting spot years ago. He never complained about my mess either! I love crafting, reading, and audio books while crafting! lol I can hand stitch sew but nothing elaborate. Right now I'm working on a journal of sorts, it's of all the letters and cards he ever gave me. I'm even including all the little silly notes he would leave me around the house or in my car. I'm making it fun and quirky but something that I can look through and smile and laugh and even cry. ❤️
@@karencvick That sounds like a nice way to remember your dear husband, so sorry. We recently lost a son to heart disease, I've been using the cards we received & many pictures to fill journal books, to honor his memory. So much better than just a photo album. I can write memories and post pictures the rest of the family probably don't remember. They like looking at the journals.
What fun!! These cards look like such a great way to "clean up the craft table!" Why clean when you can just "craft your way to clean!" Thanks so much!
I just love this..... Yes...I also love playing with papers...less is more. making something from nothing.... I say this all the time Thanks for such wonderfully entertaining videos...🥀🥀🥀
Just wanted to let you know how entertaining you are as you make your master pieces. I was so happy I came across your tutorial. You are so fun to watch and now I can't wait to start working on some of my index cards for my journals. Thank you for sharing and giving me some laughs and smiles. ❤
These are so much fun to make and they looked so amazing! I sat and made 21 of these last night in just a few hours as I watched TV. If anyone wants a portable project for your RV or hotel stay, this is a great possibility and you can fit all the materials into a gallon sized freezer bag.
I just found a ton of index cards in my desk drawer. There are white ones, green ones & yellow ones. I have no idea where they came from 😆. If it wasn't for you, Pam, I would never had known they were there. Now for some crafting! Thank you!
Pam, these are So Pretty and So many uses! I Love your styles and designs! I am in my studio late evenings, rarely ever throughout the day, but a project like this I can grab a few supplies and create in moments of time throughout the day! Simple and Fun! Thank you Pam!
love this idea so basiclly fun so thanks! Good hearing Holly and i bet your mushroom is only a guy, who stayed in the dark so long he transform into a "fun guy"...😂😂😂🙏✌ I could not resist! Have a good week.
Love doing a walk thru my paper room just to find the basics. Paper....glue....stickers....oh my!!! I'm with you.... let's start a paper and glue revolution🤣
Love the cards, every single craft you make turns out so beautiful, and your comments are hilarious, I laugh, laugh and laugh! About 15 years ago, I was super excited to find a paint shop where they were giving away about 25 outdated wallpaper books, wheeee....! I had found heaven... I had been looking for those for a long time. I took about a dozen, the ones I loved the most, flowers, landscapes/nature, women/men/kids subjects/activities, different countries/cities of the world, maps, travel, messages sand writings, even fabric/laces, different colors of geometric patterns, beautiful borders matching the wallpaper page.... you name it... Once back home, I pulled all the books and pages apart, took me a few days (was not back from heaven yet... lol). To this day, I still have tons and tons of pages. I was working as an activity director in care homes then, making all kinds of crafts with my little ladies (and for myself at home), using the beautiful wallpaper pages, etc... I had been itching to start a Journal for awhile, I finally started it a couple of months ago, I just finished last week-end. I'm in love with it. :)
It’s not just you, Pam. I love, love these. I was thinking when it dries you could even cut out shapes or make them smaller if you need smaller ones. Great idea. Collage is one of the crafts I love to do the most. Back in the 1970's, it was popular for my college roommate and me to collage on bottles, plates, paper and cardboard. We glued pictures of the girls on our dorm floor and us. These turned out as decor for our rooms. That was so long ago when we took pictures with a camera and we would get paper pictures back from the pharmacy/film development center. Old memories coming back to me with these projects using paper! Fun stuff!!
Pam you crack me up❤️ AND you inspire me, Thank you for sharing. I am a newbie and don’t have all the fancy Tim Holtz stuff everyone seems to have but love to get creative
