Yeah. You might want to use the paper towel on everything that's greasy before you'd put it into the dishwasher or sink. In the long run, the towel (and the garbage disposal services) will be a little bit cheaper than the drain cleaning (especially when it is clogged somewhere where high pressure devices, or the rotating chain thingy, can't reach). Regular oil (like olive oil) shouldn't turn into the solid "brick", but butter, margarine or any other sort of the grease that's solid before it gets heated up, is a primary target to get removed from the frying pan. Soap can take grease apart, but only 90% or so. This means if you put 100kg of grease into the sink with soap or other detergent, 10kg will still go down the pipes.
We had a secretary at our office and we would go to her father's house to snake out the main drain every year cuz it was full of grease and every year we told the gentleman what was wrong and I went back and seen the secretary and she's like. Did you figure out what the problem was? I said yeah the line was full of grease and she said well it couldn't be. They don't pour grease down the drain I'm like Oh you know what I think it was the people living upstairs and she looked at me and said but nobody else lives in the house and I said exactly so it can only be coming from one place and it's coming from the people that live there for 25 years lol. Great video Bruce. Keep it up brother and I hope you have yourself a great day.
